Lmao, why are you praising this club? Absolute failure of a season. Hawks were 0-5 WITH a young list and still managed to turn it around, on the verge of playing a home final. We were 6-2 after 8 rounds and floundering in 13th.

Goodwin is the problem we have players wanting out of the club Pettraca Viney will go to North Oliver will be at another club.and the culture is the poorest in the league. I respect Alex decision for family and its good that club is allowing him to move for family reason

@@andrewrogers5962The coach is responsible for the list as much as anyone and he’s certainly responsible for the deplorable game style that has resulted in 3 finals wins in the last 6 years with arguably the best list in the game for much of that time, Goodwin is a fraud
@@andrewrogers5962 Yep arguably best list in the league no doubt and if you are happy with what was achieved with that list then enjoy your continued mediocrity because with Goodwin in charge there is a lot coming our way.

@@andrewrogers5962 How is it delusional to want to get rid of a failed coach, the premiership is the outlier it’s been nothing but failure the rest of his tenure, the list is cooked now but the fact it only reached 1 grandfinal between 2019 to 2023 is criminal and lies at Goodwin’s feet.
@@andrewrogers5962 agree to disagree, the list is now cooked but was clearly if not the best, top 4 and with that list we won 3 finals which is a disgrace. As for our forward line which is totally dysfunctional again ( thanks Goodwin) we still have two of the leading 20 goal kickers in the comp and a young tall when he’s not being wasted in the ruck has kicked 26. The fact that we are one dimensional, slow and predictable is 💯 Goodwin’s fault and he should pay a price
@@andrewrogers5962 We won 3 you can’t include 18 and ridiculous to do so, jvr is no superstar but has kick 26 this year, our 3 best forwards have kicked 100 between them in a team that moves the ball like treacle with 2 of them spending time on the ball as well, that screams poor coaching. Also ridiculous to say we relied on Browne and McDonald, they were roll players every premiership team has them, they were able to be roll players because of the two guns we had and still have.

A coach does not decide where a player plays next year. The player and opposition club wanting them control that.
He's still under contract so the club will also want to get what we need from the trade.

Personally i think it is the dills behind him, the assistant from Richmond and that guy from St Kilda. Yze was huge loss, i think Yze had some smarts.
You replace Goodwin with whom? Last year we would have won a priemership but look what happened Brayshaw gone, Petty and Melksham in top form gone... Van Rooyen suspended... You need luck to win flags, look at Carlton injuies galore...bad luck yes... We need to do what Hawthorn has done, rebuild with youngsters and they do not have to be stars...
When do we get to replace Goodwin and the clowns who keep giving him contracts
