@DAVID PABON Someone has a different opinion? Time for me to be sarcastic and shit on a character they like, simply cause I don't. Why should they sit their and enjoy themselves when they're watching a character I personally feel boring.
@DAVID PABON No there is no need and I wouldn't care for errors unless i'm genuinely confused by a retort. There is no need because like you stated you gave your opinion, which is fine, and I gave my opinion that you taking the chance to bash a character in a mini thread where people were praising the character is out of place. Instead you could of made it your own by starting a new comment post, but you chose not to. And I chose to respond in the same negative tone , not to be rude or accuse you of saying something, but to show you somewhat of a reflection of your comment. Or at least how it's seen to others. You can make of it whatever you want. I'm not really interested in diving deeper
DAVID PABON I agree with you, I love shulk but man he isn’t fun to watch. Kind of like golf, I’ve played it and had a great time. But watching it is awful...
@@ragnazebrudedge6236 Link is extremely abuseable by any character that is remotely faster than him. Did you see the set T won against Greninja and how careful he had to play. The character looks boring, but all things are equal when it comes to legitimate competition. On wifi, Link is OP. In tournament against skilled players, you need to know your matchups and what you can't do. I'm ecstatic that Link is finally more viable as a competitive character. Easier is not the same as casual or worse. So you seriously need to drop that terminology with this character. His recovery is predictable, he still has considerable lag by comparison to many other characters, and his best moves are upB out of shield and nair. You need to know your matchups and pick your shots. Young Link is literally a brain dead character by comparison. I don't claim to be able to beat T one on one with my Link, but I can say that he suffers from tunnel vision at times. It's something every Link main does. You know your set ups and just keep fishing for them while getting stuffed at every attempt. He could've closed out the set 2-0 on that last stock had he not done this. Boomerang to forward air is a confirm but not on Shield Art and he just kept trying to do it and kept getting punished for it lol
As a Shulk main, it can feel like I'm cheating sometimes, two hard reads can take a stock and induce Hero levels of salt lol. Although he can get rushed down pretty hard if your opponent plays around arts properly. Also, parries can be troublesome for him.......
GetBn yep, Shulk’s moveset is solid especially combined with Monado Art manipulation. But his downfall is his less-than-stellar frame data. He has to physically take the Monado off his back, point it, and THEN the blue beam comes out. I guess that’s how Sakurai balanced him out. He would be pretty OP if all his normal attacks were as fast as Roy’s or Meta Knight’s or something.
The first few seconds of this taught me that speed forward throw allows a follow up, which kinda shocked me, but now I know another way to start a suicide fair chain
Big sword goes through link's best neutral tools (nair, boomerang, fair). This makes it difficult for link and easier for shulk. There's always counter play, but that has nothing to do with matchups. 90 - 10 matchups still have counter play.
Nathan Levesque if you win a game one white bar turns red. win two games and you win the match. The symbols and both sides stand stand for which character they used
