Hey Great video you got here man! its nice to see an update on this car the super bird my heart would of just dropped after seeing that happen but thats just me
Are you a Buick guy who left out the MCACN recreation of the famous Car Review sponsored Round 1 426 Hemi vs. 455 Stage 1 Musclecar Shootout that took place in Dec. 1984? The MCACN recreation of the March 1985 Car Review cover shot that showed the 1970 GTX Hemi and 1970 GS Stage 1 was great. The two cars were displayed together at MCACN just as they were shown on the cover of that March 1985 Car Review cover. Even the Christmas Tree was included in the display!
@@rustyspringsranch2471 That's great, Rusty. I figured that you must've gotten it on film. I couldn't believe all of the people there that remembered that 38 yr. old race, or at least what happened. GS owner Rich Lasseter, who bought the car brand new, was surrounded by enthusiasts and was a really nice guy who answered numerous questions. The Hemi GTX owner (Steve) from my city of Nashville, TN was its 4th or 5th owner. After the race, the GTX was quickly sold to a Canadian. I still have the old issue of that famous race and the issues that led up to it. That one race turned the old musclecar pecking order upside down. Funny ...
@@rustyspringsranch2471 I admire the guy. Very approachable and friendly to everyone. His wife was sweet, too. She offered all of us some snacks and light beverages. A very pretty young Asian. Was your GS orange?
Great vid Jerry! Amazing transformation from Thu. to Sat. Hopefully it all happens w/o any cars getting damaged.
Amazing the rear window of that Superbird survived!
Love your car and the color 😍
Thank you!

Thanks! It was heartbreaking to see it in person
I heard there will be a 1980 Mirada concept car there.
There is. I will post the show field setup tonight after the crowds subside.
