  • Simple yet effective bracket for mounting scissor steps on camper.
Simpler adjustable legs for use on steps, which allowed me to utilize the Stow N' Go bracket.

Some modifications to suit our needs but out of the box- nice. Not a 'how-to', just what we ended up with.
Some details yet to do, articulating and adjustable feet and extra set of spring buttons to use the extra height legs when needed.

The steps look great! I just ordered a set for my Lance 855s. I do have a question though. Do the steps interfere with the trailer hitch at all? I will be towing a trailer from time to time and am wondering if they will need to be removed prior to towing.

Mine do not, 4 step, slightly lower than campers rear bumper but not near hitch (extended) to cause interference.
But really couldn't say on different combinations, however easy enough to pull pivot pins or locks to remove if needed when towing. Steps wouldn't be able to fold down anyway, unless trailer parked at quite an angle.

Thanks for the video, just installed these steps! I'm curious about your lock, I think it's a great idea! Are you using the Torklift lock and looks like you drilled through a couple arms. Any comments or video would be appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, its a Torklift lock, I had ordered a set of 4 so the pivot and added 'safety' locks are keyed alike. Drilling is actually thru 3 arms to restrain. Simply didn't like relying on rubber snubbers to keep folded.
Note middle arms are at an angle in relation to inner & outer when folded, so hole must be off center to catch. see 0:54-:55, vertical arm at right boot. You can see my first hole was off edge, had to swap inner & outer arms and try again.
Bolted short piece of al bar to lock pin head as handle to insert thru - couldn't get my hands between treads.
