    After watching this, you made me interested in studying in WDKA. This sounds exactly like what I wanted to do! 🥺🥺
    The only way possible for me to get to WDKA is by scholarship probably.
    Coming from a science background and having a bachelor degree in computer science, I always find myself loving illustration more than anything.
    For the past year, I've been learning more about children's book illustration. And I had the joy to be working on a few picture books in 2023.

    hellooo ^-^/ I loved your video, it was really helpful since i'm currently looking for an illustration programme in europe and i'm really lost. I've looked at universities in denmark, scotland and the netherlands and WdKA sounds like the best option. I would be lying if I said that the after graduation part looks pretty scary to me, as you said in the video that the options for illustration majors are pretty limited and some people consider changing majors. I wanted to ask you if you knew of anyone who had graduated in illustration and then taken another major to have a wider variety of options, such as graphic design or animation. Again, thanks for making these videos, they are really encouranging

      I'm really glad this helped!!
      For routes after graduation, my view might be biased or not objective enough, so only take it as a reference:)
      Some students I know are planning to work in graphic design or 3D motion graphics industry. As far as I know, if you want to work in a company rather than working as a freelancer, it is good to develop your own skill outside of the school (Adobe After effects for motion graphics, Cinema 4D for 3D works, etc).

    im scared about the accomodation/housing, how is it there? I have heard that there is a very big shortage and hard to find places, and that it is very expensive

    Thank you so much for your informative video! My friend and I are thinking of studying there probably next year, but we don't have any relative experience. May I ask if you have relative experience before getting admission? If relative experience is needed, we're not sure if one year is enough to prepare. Happy new year >o

    Hi! I've been looking for a more in depth video about wdka and their way of working so thank you for that!
    I still had one question: are you able to work a part time job while studying at wdka, or do it's hours totally fill up your days?

    • @winingrace9732
      @winingrace9732  2 года назад +4

      Hey! Glad it helped:)
      You can definitely work while studying at wdka, especially with illustration major. There are not that many classes but you have more time on your own to make projects, so soley depends on how much you spend on making art! There are a lot of students working part time here, even in tatoo shops.

      @@winingrace9732 I would love to study here but im scared about the accomodation issue! everyone is saying that it's very bad, and even one university Minerva academy of arts set up tents for rent due to many homeless students. Is your accommodation expensive?

    hii can u tell me what s the difference between fine arts and illustration major, besides having to study sculpure and photography? i can t decide between these 2 and if u know any student from fine arts it could really help.

    • @winingrace9732
      @winingrace9732  2 года назад +1

      I would say illustration major is more practical and focused on storytelling. For example, we had drawing and zine making classes. I heard Fine arts is more concept and research based. If you want to become an illustrator or designer, go for illustration major, and if you want to work as an artist, go to fine arts. Both majors do allow using wide range of mediums but Fine arts works seemed more broad.

    Hey, I have done my college ( Bachelor's) already in India( in a different field) and I plan to do my masters in Graphic Design. What are the chances of getting admission and how difficult it might be to cope?

      I honestly have no idea about the masters here because I have no experience:'( The masters department(Piet Zwart Institute) is separate from wdka!
