    Last year, when I visited Hampi, I took the same route through Challekere, but took the Kudigli route all the way till Hospete as I had booked the hotel there for stay, at Virupaskha temple, for bikes one can take all the way till the main entrance, perks of being a biker :)

    • @StepsTogether

      Good to know about route you chose to reach Hampi.. No doubt, bike ride is another name for freedom. Nothing can beat that for sure. But for the scorching heat of summer in Hampi, it comes with the cost isnt it 😁. Thanks for the comment.. 🙂

    It really is an exceptional video. The edition, respecting the times of the songs, the superimposed images, "the car" showing the distances and the map, everything is exquisite. Just one question: Why didn't you use the highway that is surely faster?
    Another question: Are tolls manual or automatic?
    Thanks again and congratulations for the video. It was a great help. I wait a few months to be in those lands.

      Thanks a lot for all the encouraging words. Glad that you liked our approach.
      We usually prefer lively inner routes to reach destinations over boring highways. Anyway till Hiriyuru it is 6 lane highway and from there on we took the alternative route reach Hampi. The famous route is Bengaluru > Chitradurga > Hosapete > Hampi.
      If you have 'FASTAG' attached to your car you can use automatic toll lane or else you can pay the money manually at the booth too..
      Please don't forget to share your experience once you visit Hampi.

    This is not the best route to Hampi from Bangalore.....!!!!!
    Need to go through Chitradurga and Hosapete for a smooth drive.
    Though the road from Durga to hosapete is under construction, still that will be hassle free option.
    I am from Hosapete.

    • @StepsTogether
      @StepsTogether  6 лет назад +1

      Under construction road and hassle free drive is two contradicting statements isnt it?We believe until the construction on Durga to Hosapete is over this is still the best route option to reach hampi. Thanks for the other perspective.
