This aged beautifully. Literally everything said applies to FTX today - in terms of saving companies
Like how many times?
Lol
Listening to this, I don’t think he’s going through the process of how companies get fhemselves into difficulty and what criteria he needs to save them. I think he’s replaying to the world, in plain sight, the current situation at FTX to gauge the real world opinion. It’s crazy to listen to this knowing what we know now.
Never, ever trust anyone that says 'right?' after every sentence.
Manipulative sales tactic for sure
And.. "like", "umm"
Anyone who believed this nonsense is responsible for losing their money. I cant take this guy seriously.
😂😂😂😂
I lost over $750k in fcc token. I have a high iq. Maybe it was peer pressure. Then again now I hear this guy he seems like a total nerd.
@@Matowix Truly sorry to hear that. It happens. We live, we learn.

@@YourAverageSilver No doubt. I know a charlatan when I see one. Dude cant even form coherent sentences.
Biggest red flag is that he can’t explain how his business makes money.
I don't know about that... His description of a Ponzi was quite accurate.
Surprised he didn't have a panic attack onstage, it seems Alameda was already bust before this event.
This dude is so absolutely, completely tweeked out here it's almost incredible he's still alive.
Absolutely. When you know the signs. You know the signs.

I need to take paracetamol after listening to them 😀

Never invest with anyone who says ‘like’ as many times as Sam does within this interview.
This guy is still a kid. He has no concept of business. He talks like a kid with the like and like like like. So stupid. Amazing how so many smart people got fooled by him.

So proud of having been in the same math class as Matt Levine at Syosset HS. He's as sharp today as he ever was back then, not to mention such a gentleman!

Hes like Elizabeth Holmes. They should get married in prison
He stated in this video that's its OK to take "random crap" as collateral. Vs taking no collateral and thats the reason these firms collapsed because of 3ac was that there was no collateral. So I guess the main takeaway after this collapse is that, no, Sam, taking random crap as collateral will not suffice
He's not lost. He's a scammer bamboozling his victims with a lot of words.
I wonder if Sam will attend Court hearings to come in shorts!!
If you play this now with the closed captioning, it will open your mind.
Wow what an interview. Such a well read and sharp journalist and not a single hard hitting question or follow up. Kind of like let me just talk to a guy and lend my reputation about Sam being amazing and it was so obvious that this was a hous e of cards. And by obvious I mean not obvious and by not obvious I mean I never had the foresight to short the heck out of FTT and buy an island. My only engagement with SBF was how Alameda killed REEF when it refused to let him dump their tokens. That said I still took a bath on REEF.
Crazy how he hints at dipping into customer funds

BEING THERE - Was a movie written way back in 1979 , it described an idiot, who didn't know anything, a gardener, and people reinterpreted everything he said as genius.
We have a lot of this going on today.
If someone has money they are looked upon as brilliant and knowledgeable even though they may have gotten the money through inheritance, cheating, lotto, etc.
Money transfers with it the illusion that that person also is an authority with knowledge.
If this guy had said the same things without having money no one would have listened to him.
Really the public is to blame for buying into this crap. I am not saying that someone cannot have money and be smart at the same time of course that can be, but we should not accept that as correlation, when someone is saying something completely idiotic.
Any person with an uncontrollable leg twitch shouldn't be trusted.
