I am humbled Mr Aiken youtube.com/@WhatIsOnTheComicRack, thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the editing and branding-it's a labour of love and always a work in progress!
Great comics David. CGC's Pedigree page makes fascinating reading and I've spent time following up the stories behind some of those pedigrees. There's definitely a book waiting to be written about the more famous pedigrees and the stories of the people who originally assembled them, like the Okajima collection (Japanese-American girl from California interned by the US Government during World War II). I would also like to mention what I call "minor pedigrees", one-owner collections bought by a comics store which prints COAs to acknowledge their origin. This is a cheap way to buy a kind of pedigree, although you have to trust the store enough to accept that the COA is valid and the story behind the comics is genuine. Bring on more horror/supernatural comics!
Always a pleasure Charlie youtube.com/@charliedogg7683! I'm a huge fan of Pedigree books and the stories behind them. The CGC Pedigree page is a good start, but I'm hoping to do more videos on some of these. Agree is would make a great book/documentary.
Sorry that some of these books got a lower grade than quoted. I had a similar experience when purchasing a raw book from Metropolis from the Suscha News collection (a Fantastic Four 107). Metropolis advertised it as 9.0... CGC said 8.0.
Thanks youtube.com/@pbales8951. Despite this experience I've have ordered some more titles from Metropolis. Not sure if Metropolis is under grading or CGC is far too harsh. What do you think?
Happy Halloween to you too Jason youtube.com/@jasonshaw2911! I'm glad I was able to share and that you learned something about CGC Pedigree books, I love collecting them when I can.
Cheers Brian youtube.com/@brianLCS, enjoying this #horrortober, it's the perfect way to get into the spooky vibes. Got any horror favorites on your reading list?
Happy I found your channel. Really enjoy these videos. Just scooped up some Bronze horror from the "Massachusetts Copy" pedigree. Really hoping to add more to my collection.
Welcome to the channel youtube.com/@cdu1010, awesome to hear you’re loving the vids! Your own Massachusetts Pedigree Bronze horror comics sound awesome, what did you get? Can’t wait to see what else you add to your collection!
Good afternoon David Great show as always, those comics were great. A dissapointement for you on the grading, but you are only the second person to own these comics and that has to make it 10 out of 10. Cheers Al The Goldkeyfourcolorkidownunda
Hey Al youtube.com/@alancarr7718, thanks for watching my friend, stoked you liked this show. As we know grading can sometimes be a disappointment, but as you state, at least I’m in an exclusive Pedigree comic club now!
Yeah I dont know what to say about those books, they present extremely well but Vinnie must be very disappointed with whoever graded them for them to be that far off the mark, but of course congratulations on adding those very desireable pedigree books to your collection .
Thanks for sharing your thoughts youtube.com/@captain_uk! CGC grading can definitely be a bit unpredictable sometimes, but I'm still thrilled to have these pedigree books in my collection.
Your editing, branding, effects, and books are off the chart!!

Yeah dealers need to be conservative in their grading
