Deceit of the eyes. The product is excellent craftsmanship. It’s just overrated. Unless you’re around people with a trained eye your average person won’t be able to tell the difference. To me it’s becomes more fitting it when it comes to something like a suit or tie. The shirts are not worth it because either it’s mainly hid from your jacket and in the case it’s not there isn’t a spectacular visual difference between Brioni dress shirts and other brands with high levels of craftsmanship. I get it if your doing it for your own personal satisfaction but doing it just so you can feel valuable because of a brand name is sad. That’s a loss of personal value and self confidence. I think louis vuitton and gucci are perfect examples. Their ties are hideous. I don’t want to presume but it’s hard not to think any man wearing one is probably only doing it because in their mind it has a sense of value. You can have money and still have low social status. To me their more tools of projection. Most people don’t care about how much money you have. They’ll either hate you, be neutral, or highly favor you. My feelings are if you have a high income flaunting it strikes me as immature. It’s about as bad as getting the H print on an Hermès tie. I’d rather have an artistic and unique print versus a boring H. Brioni ties might actually be my favorite. Charvet is right there with them. The weight of the Brioni tie just blows the competition out of the water.
I have one Brioni tie and one dress shirt, and they're both fantastic quality. Don't buy it because of the brand name, buy it because it holds together exceptionally well.

I concur. I own few Brioni ties and they make one of the best knots. second is Stefano Ricci ties.
