Why Does RABIES Cause HYDROPHOBIA (Fear of Water)?

- The hydrophobia (fear of water) is brought on by the extreme pain of swallowing liquids, not just water. The rabies virus causes intense muscle spasms in the throat that are excruciating, so much so that even the thought of swallowing can result in aggressive behavior.
However, not all cases of rabies cause hydrophobia. There are two ways rabies manifests, depending on which strain of rabies virus one is infected with. The types are furious rabies and paralytic rabies. Furious rabies results in hydrophobia and aggression. Paralytic rabies, as the name suggests, results in paralysis of the limbs and, if not treated, can result in a coma.

fascinating! Incredible adaptations.
You literally didn't answer the question in the tittle
They did. It's about the virus taking control of the salivary glands and making water painful to swallow so that the saliva can be as highly concentrated as possible with the virus itself to increase likelihood of infecting another victim.
Only 1 Symptom it's game over
O.o It's not always fatal, but 95% is pretty high. 3 people have survived in America. A lot of people misinform people that you're going to die. Just as many misuse the p-word, as even multiple psychiatry sources say how common people misues the word, p*do. Just how many anti-vegans have been very debunked. Veganism, the best diet for humans.
symptom,* over.*
Symptom isn't a proper noun, and many people sadly think lack of needed punctuation is fashionable. Lulz
@ReligionAndMaterialismDebunked at least he doesn't say cringe things like "lulz" like it's 2008.
