    A very interesting video! Also the recent one on Cade. Thanks for devoting the time to include us RUclips viewers in your process. May I ask what camera and software system(s) you use for your motion capture? I am currently training to do fitting in the Pacific Northwest of the US. My pockets are not deep enough now (these tools are bloody expensive) but maybe later. I really appreciate how you use high-tech tools but rely more on the physical assessment and interviews to confirm the bike changes. I also appreciate how and what you ask the rider after changes. Thanks! Glad you are doing your own channel.

    As a tall person it'd be great to see (and learn from) a tall person getting a bike fit. Hearing a lot about people riding bikes that are too big, but what if it's the opposite where people can't even find bikes big enough?

    Kudos to whoever edits these videos. I had a bike fit "up north" 5 weeks and only yesterday finally happy with the video, I think the lesson learnt for anyone wanting to do the same and is more used to filming ride videos not to bother with multiple cameras - it quickly became an editing nightmare. Just use one good camera with audio mics would have done the job just the same and easier for all involved.

    Would love to see a video of someone tall and wide, or just wide, seeing how to solve for wide hips when q factors are so narrow in modern bikes, plus a wide saddle, wide feet, etc., seeing how to work around someone who can theoretically have X reach and position, but their gut is blocking the top of their stroke or their inner thighs rub the saddle and create sores.

    Does G8 sell those arc pieces separately? Mine are over a year old.

    • @ShadowzKiller
      @ShadowzKiller 5 дней назад

      This is one reason why it might be better to get a custom insoles, they generally last longer. G8 insoles are already around 140 euros. At some places, you can heat-molded insoles between 90 and 200 euros and they can at least last two years. Obviously, like James has said before, the person must know how to make them. James probably does not have the time to make custom insoles for each bike fit so it makes sense to use G8. I have heard of that arch piece breaking for stronger riders.

    • @Paksusuoli95

      @@ShadowzKiller Yeah I found only one place selling replacement arch pieces but most of the sizes are sold out. It's crazy if G8 makes you buy the whole package again just to get a pair of plastic arch pieces.

      Mine sagged within a few months so I emailed G8 as I wanted them replaced. He told.me it didn't matter and they will still work the same (seriously) Makes no sense at all. He refused to acknowledge there was anything wrong with them. And being unable to buy replacements is just ridiculous
