Exploring Category B Prison | Dark History

This episode we go to prison! A category B prison that was decommissioned in 2013. The Victorian prison as seen today sits on top of the original Georgian prison, the remains of which are still accessible underneath the current buildings. There has been a prison on the site since 1793. From 1902-1961 there were eight executions by hanging including women.

Reminds me of Gloucester prison. I was lucky enough to get a tour of the old part of the prison when a friend was part of the contractor company

Man this is a crazy creepy place 😮

That place Im sure was a hell hole! I got bad vibes just watching it . Back then the guards would beat your ass and prisoners would fight and shank, Being locked up in there would be terrifying! I just cant imagine. Probably haunted as well with all the death there. Not only executions but by guard, by prisoners or sickness.
