Then it started skipping all over the place and he was like "What's this? Ruining MY song? Screw that!" and the next thing you know we're clicking on cat videos.
The lead singer of Everclear, Art Alexakis, when he was a teenager his girlfriend had committed suicide 😢 Shortly after, he had attempted to take his own life by jumping off of the Santa Monica Pier. That's supposed to be what this song's about. Kinda sad, actually. Great song tho, nonetheless. Always been one of my top ten all time favs.
