I never really understood how to use the Ostnato . And now I do thanks to you. It would be good to see more videos just like this, explaining different sections of albion one. Thanks again
One request for those of us watching on phones can you zoom in to the area you are discussing to make efficient use of the screen. Thanks for making this tutorial :-)
@@citizenworld8094 I view most tutorials in bed just before hitting the pillow. Sure if it's vital I'll watch on the big screen but it's a general comment on many tutorial videos that the screen space is not used as efficiently as it could be.

The advantage of doing it in the Ostinato section is that the pattern you create will follow you around the keyboard. Much easier for trying out ideas and getting creative with performance
Sorry I don't understand as I don't have Albion one.., what's the point of what you're doing there in the instrument? As you can do that and so much more in the daw sequencer?
Mate this is great! I've followed your instructions precisely but my notes don't play a rhythm at all - just a single not. It's like I don't have it turned on at all. Any ideas?
Hmm, have you tried all the different modes (ascending, etc). Or maybe try chord mode and see if that works. I know this sounds mad, but could it be something as simple as editing one instance whilst triggering another (ie, wrong midi channel etc)?
A great exploration in Albion ONE ostinato feature. .Using the "key" area efficiently. Thanks for the video!

Excellent video - I couldn't figure this out until I saw what you did with the 'key' setting.
You've saved me a lot of time there. Cheers. Mike.
Thank you so much for making this video. this is amazing feature and I didn't even know that I had it. Again thank you so much

Fair point, cheers!
The ostinato section is small in Kontakt so if you've spent this amount of money, why are you using a phone to watch an important tutorial?

Very useful , thanks.
Well done. Excellent explanation👍
Great Video!
This was really helpful, thanks! Do you remember which Reaper theme you used here? Looks awesome 👍🏻
thanks
Thx!
Thanks for the explanation. It was very helpfull.
Could you teach how to set a specific BPM or by TAP Tempo?
Thanks! Kontakt should follow your daw tempo for the ostinato section. Try changing the temp there? 👍
@@audiooutsource I got it. Thank you again!

Very good. In fact, better than very good :)
6:29. I would have gone for 'Mars' there :).
Good point! I should've credited Holst!
Thanks for this,,very helpful. It says in the manual that you can upload presets but I can seem to find them, can you help me out?
copy the Albion ONE folder (97kb) to your documents folder; click Load on the Ostinatum and you should find the presets in that Albion ONE folder
The thing I dont understand about this is...why not just do it in the piano roll?
