Brenda, thank you for inviting me to your backyard today. I was feeling very sad and very lonely but walking through your yard. I felt wonderful thank you sweetheart. God bless your recipes. I love most of all I like when you talk about God.
I love your yard. It looks like a proper garden with its ferns, roses and mosses. It's like the gardens we had back when people went with the natural look.
I had a great grandmother living when I was young, she had a big yard. Up behind her house was an old shed and next to it sat a pear tree. When the pears got ripe I can remember going to visit, and hearing those pears fall on the tin roof. She had a grape arbor, too, growing the old Concord grapes, they were real dark purple with a dusty grayish coating on the skin. So you walked through that into her vegetable garden. She grew green beans, snap peas, potatoes, corn, squash, and all through the garden, flowers. All through her yard she had plants and bushes, shrubs up next to the wrap around porch,in the front of the house. It was a site to behold when everything was in bloom. She had a small back porch, with a little chair with a cushion in it, where she would sit and break up beans,or peas. She was a small woman not even 5 feet tall. She had 8 children,6 girls and 2 boys. She was quiet most of the time but when she talked, you listened. Inside the house the main parlor was in the middle of the house, just past a dining room. There on the mantle sat a old clock and it tick tocked ,and I would watch the pendulum swing back and forth, while the granny rocked in her chair. The rocking chair would go squeak squeak and the clock would tick tock, it was real soothing and quiet. I'm glad everything is good in your yard. The memories are sweet. Have a wonderful rest of your day.
Amen Brenda I’m 80 now and I’ve sat around all day I’m stiff as a board now after you took us a walk thru your garden I’ve gotten a bit of a pep I’m going to get up sweep my porch cut some dead plants down and fix a bite to eat and think about YOU. Love ya Sherry in Gallipolis Ohio

Ms Brenda, im exhausted today..i just sat down this Sunday evening and i want you to know how you touched me deep into my heart..i needed a friendly thankful voice.. and you just made me smile. Ms. BRENDA i don't always comment on your videos.. so so busy , but please know.. You are loved!!!!
Good morning Ms Brenda!! I love your yard. The bushes you are talking about going through a birds digestive system reminds me of the volunteers my daughter in law found in my yard this year. But they were vegetables. She found a couple tomato plants last couple days… but too late in the season to have them produce any tomatoes. She also has found carrots and cucumbers in the yard. I’ve have birds bring me snapdragons before in my flower beds, and those keep coming back. Have a good day!! And thank you for walking us around the yard. Loved it!!😊🥰😘
Good morning and thank you for the wonderful walk. Your property is beautiful, so inviting.🌻🌸 I love to garden and this year I've rooted quite a bit with success, now I'm harvesting Zinnia and Marigold seeds for next spring. I'm hoping Jesus returns before then but His will be done🙏✝️ Have a blessed day, so glad all is well after the storm.❤
I love to watch your videos Ms.Brenda. You remind me sooo .much of my Mother. She loved her flowers in her yard 🎉too. She had a green thumb just like you. She's in heaven now where there are beautiful flowers too. God bless you Ms Brenda. You Always Brighten My Days.💜

My grandma and grandpa Berry had rockers all across the front porch when I was young. The adults would sit and talk or play guitars and all of us children would catch lightening bugs in jars. But grandma made us let them go before we went in. She said God needs his flash lights. We can borrow them but he needs them back. I miss them do much and can't waitvto see them again one day.
Praying your day is greatly blessed. You are such a motivational inspiration to me. Love you. Ive had 14 surgeries in the past 2 years on my kidney, multiple strokes on both sides of my brain. Its so easy to get down and depressed, I watch you and feel happy, enjoy your teaching, your prayers, and feel inspired by you.
This was a beautiful time that you gave to me. In Alabama is much different from me, where I grew up in northern New York. I have moved all over the country, and now I am in Texas. I have memories in the South where I have lived for many years. Thank you, and Bless you, not just as a great cook, but a great Sister in the Lord.
You know we're making memories of all sorts each day,so its great to to set and plan, and build in our mind's. I enjoy reviewing the memories once and awhile. Thanks sis for sharing yours❤🤗🤗😗

You are truly blessed, Ms. Brenda, but those blessings come with hard work! You seem to enjoy even the hard work. I really like your channel, and I like how you talk to people as if they are standing right in front of you----we are, I guess, since the camera is there! Many, many blessings to you, now and forevermore! Come quickly, Lord Jesus! Can't wait to meet you in heaven----very soon, I believe!

I've been sick for a while and had a high fever today. I think I would like the muscadines. I love your story of Dallas's bench. I wonder if he were to move it in one peace that it would not hold up. I've had a a tough time but I'm I was so glad to see you today. Friday 9-13 2024❤😊
Your swing reminded me of our River house we purchased. The wood on it had weathered and looked beyond repair. I sprayed 50/50 water and vinegar solution on it. Let it sit for 15 minutes then rinsed. You wouldn’t believe how that wood came alive and almost looked brand new. It was almost like it was resurrected❤. Love your latest cookbook!!
Good morning, Miss Brenda. Here in the north, we don't typically see scuppernong growing, but I've eaten it before, and I do enjoy it. I surely enjoy the walk in your yard. I really like old antique house. You should give us a tour inside sometime. I love ya and God bless y'all.
