He was already cheating, belittling her, and not hearing a word she was saying. They don't have seem to have the same values. Respectfully, the adoption \foster care system is broken across the US. I'm just saying being in that position is not as "easy" an answer without understanding her background and support system.

This was a CHILDHOOD relationship. There's a reason people break up at the end of high school before proceeding to college. I understand in the 1950s and previous decades when you married your high school sweet heart, a relationship that began at 13 was important, but this was in decades and generations of the past!

@SRT_DRE No, he cheated first and then said that since he lied about sleeping with her college student and it was like dragging out teeth then they might as well be an open relationship. But then he said yeah, but we can only be open if you date girls only. So, not only did he cheat and gaslit her. When she offered to allow them to both see people only, guilt free, he said okay, but only if it's girls only. He's controlling and manipulative and was only hurt because she wasn't ready to be a mother and she realized she was getting a bad deal with the open relationship thing.

I love how this young woman is brhaving! She is making great choices for herself and looking towards the future... Never be so caught up in a man that you disregard commin sense and what you want for your life...She can meet someone else but she will NEVER get her time & youth back
They communicate really beautifully, I think that the guy has a fantasy in his head of what he wants his life to look like (which is fine), but that fantasy isn't realistic at this point in time. You can WANT a house and WANT a baby and WANT a marriage and stuff all you want but it is so unrealistic to do those things without seriously thinking about it and the girl knows that. I feel like they have the right love but at the wrong time, they're simply going down two different paths. They just genuinely grew apart but it's REALLY hard for people to accept that because there's a specific type of comfortability in knowing and being with someone for a long time and it's scary to get rid of that. This is just a case of two people that have love FOR each other but are no longer in love with one another and they just need to let it go at this point and be friends.

If you both know you're not ready for a child, do what it takes NOT to have one. Every adult should be in their own space; it doesn't mean you're afraid if commitment. Thank you. I was about to make a comment becuz I couldn't believe that Judge Star let that slide. She mentioned him being broke 2x and he kept his cool. He mentions her not having a degree and all hell breaks loose. I've come to realize that Judge Star is a Girl's Girl and she let's that cloud her ruling many times. At least Judge Lynn gave Jack his jacket....
