(¡mala calidad de imagen!). El siguiente es GUADALUPE que incluye una escena de persecución de Mexidog inspirada en Jurassic World LOL
Stunning contrast between the darkening blue sky and the warm glow of the architecture. This city seems so inviting with its vistas and side streets. Thank you so much for sharing.
The addition of a City Walkaround has been a pleasant surprise. People watching and bee-bopping through neighborhoods and plazas while taking in the sights, sounds and tastes.... OH YES PLEASE! Thank you Tao of David 👍 you're an exceptional human-being.
Thank you so much for covering Zacatecas. I am from Jerez about 45 minutes south. Jerez is a “Pueblo Mágico” or magical town worth to visit. Jerez’s pride is the Tamborazo you heard and the crowd chanting “Arriba los novios” translates to “hooray for the couple” as they’re celebrating engagement
You do have a good voice! This video was a song. Was it high-altitude breathlessness that added to the sound of pride and joy you let shine in the night? One of the most joyous videos you've done. We heard the Mexi-dogs. Polite to you tonight. We'll trust that your hip will heal in time! As your journey continues, who knows where you'll come back to again? I didn't hear you say it would be your probable last time in Zacatecas. There's a tension between not being your favorite and being a safe haven. Not that your heart or mind requires you to return. Our journey is our lives, to use the word again. Thank you for showing so much of Mexico to me. The video quality was fine. La Catedral and dancing to the tamborazo were as good as could be. Like me, Mexico could use some improvement. Nor should we think of a place as a person. As you've said, a place is not just what seems iconic. And we make icons of our habits. I pray that we all have such Zacatecas nights. Isn't it both the product and the reason for the cathedral and the drums and trumpets and the rest? The quiet flowers too. I hope you slept well! Torreon is calling...
Wonderfully written comment as always Fred. Iconic! Fortunately my injury is now healed! After the video after this one (Guadalupe) I have taken a bit of a break from filming to fully recover, but there shouldn't be too much of a break in uploads. Re Zacatecas being a safe haven, I think it's a good point to make about travel, especially long-term travel. Torreon is another example. I don't come here for specific travel reasons, it's about having a sense of home when on the road. Similarly, somewhere like Nis or Belgrade in Serbia is the same for me. Like, you know it so well, it becomes a home, not a destination.
David, gracias por traernos éste tipo de vídeos tan bellos e ilustrativos, deseo que tú canal siga creciendo porque te lo mereces. 😍 Saludos y bendiciones desde Sonora, México. 😘💕
Visually, this is one of your best videos! The camera cooperated with the dim light. When I filmed my trips many years ago, video cameras weren't as good. Everything looks nice. They have heavily armed police or national guard, but they need them there. Unlike San Luis Potosí, I didn't see those business signs in English all over the place, except for that Starbucks. Who was asking you about the video? Police?
Ha it was just 2 random young guys! Re National Guard, there were many at the bus terminal. When I look at the darker scenes near the end I can see the graining in the sky, but like SLP I was quite fortunate with the amount of street lighting!
Hola David. Great video of the City of Zacatecas. I believe this city is on top ten list of one Mexico' most beautiful cities. My parents are from the state of Zacatecas and Jalisco. I have visited this city on three different occasions. It is unfortunate that this region has been affected by the violence occurring in Mexico. Take care.
@@davidostrowski679 that's the main obstacle and it s.k..s.. but hopefully you can...I would've thought evening would be more quiet.. but it's México.. and quiet is not in our blood..lol ha
Thank you David for this video. The light and the colors were excellent. Zacatecas is now on my list to visit when I finally get to Mexico. The crazy Tamborazo and the folks dancing really lifted my spirits. Cheers!

I'll still be making videos for a few months in Europe! That's where the ending is! Although knowing the RUclips algorithm it won't recommend those videos to you. That's why Travel and RUclips don't work!
I enjoy one more of your irresistible videos David! always discovering something new in Mexico for sure, thank you! I have wait for the next one... Saludos.
What a coincidence for you to post this video today. I'll be coming to Zacatecas myself in six days. Thank you for the preview of my after-dinner walks.
I was baptized in that cathedral! That was quite a long time ago… My cousin’s husband is part-owner of that Acropolis restaurant near the cathedral. You should drop by and say hello to them for me. That tamborazo would shake that beat anywhere. Lovely vids btw.
Awesome hope you're enjoying it! In real-time I left a couple of weeks ago but it was great to be back! I hope you're enjoying the walk up that hill LOL
I found this video looking for news from Zacatecas. Your video is a respite from all the bloody news from where I live, which unfortunately has become a shithole in the last year due to the war between cartels that grew due to the increase of fentanyl addiction in USA. Thank you for this video
I totally get it. I know someone from Jerez who was telling me basically the same. It must be tough, I'm glad a little bit if iconic Zacatecas life could give you some respite!
It's been 20 or 30 years since I've been to sacca Texas. What did absolute gorgeous place! Thank you for showing it off so very well! I'm using my telephone speaker I kept the bad spelling what's up little ad for Texas which bears no resemblance to Zack attack ass.
Great video! Never really hear anything good about zacatecas anymore, hell I even see mexicans talking about how they would never go there.. Such a beautiful country. Going to Culiacan next summer:)
I know what you mean! Zacatecas is like the forgotten state (along with Sonora!) but it has so much to offer. I know there have been problems there recently so I can understand why Mexicans won't go there, but hopefully things change. I saw a lot of National Guard while I was there particularly at the bus station
David, you are puffing and huffing because you are walking at about 2440 meters high. Again you did a great walkabout around a new city and it was beautiful at night, the old city, its slab paved streets and just the right lighting, both of the city and of your camera. And of course the music, not bad, and all citizens partaking of the fun, awesome scene frankly.
Four years in Mexico and you haven't gone to Saltillo, Coahuila??? It is way nicer and historic than Torreon. Saltillo is at 1600 meters in elevations surrounded by mountains with beautiful forests. Established in 1577, it is the oldest city in northern Mexico. It is not very touristy but very charming, very often overlooked by foreigners but has a lot to offer. Stop by for at least a day or so.
I don't understand what this has to do with Zacatecas? When did I mention Saltillo? I was in Monterrey in 2019 and went through Saltillo but I didn't film anything because it was 46 degrees. It's not been 4 years continuously, it's 7 trips over 4 years, I film in other countries you know lol
@@davidostrowski679 You mentioned you were going to Torreon again and since I noticed you don't have video of Saltillo, that's why I brought it up, in the summer the weather is nicer, warm during the day and cool at night. But I understand you don't have time to visit every city or film everything. It was just a suggestion, I love your videos mate.
Ah ok sorry! That's an interesting point actually, sometimes I go to places and don't film but many assume I never went there! It's a classic example of the world now in that if there's not a record of it, it didn't happen! jaja Torreon is kind of how I described Zacatecas in this one. I don't go there for tourism reasons, sometimes I just need a place I like and feel comfortable in to get some work done. Plus I have some specific plans in Torreon and Gomez which have been planned for about 6 months. Saltillo has always been on the possible list, you never know, a video still might happen! I'll be in Parras in about 5 videos time
