It is ridiculous of how many times have watched this, I just can't get over the fact of how superb it is! My school are doing this very production and I got the part of Joseph! Well done Joshua Brunsting, I thought your voice was outstanding and powerful! :D

the singing is incredibe, I love it! guys remember that this is live, so the voices echo and it has a hall effect also the music is loud so it covers their beautiful voices, no hate just love it...remember its a performance not a movie!

One song about the five fingers on RDFPAFS shows six different colors on a solid background as a purple glove, a cartoon boy, and a cartoon girl introduce the finger names. Yellow is the whole family, azure is the thumb, red is the index, green is the middle, blue is the ring and lilac is the pinky. But the musical "Joseph" always uses red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, in the official logo.

Well I love haters and people that have never performed in their life and are trying to criticize our performance! So for all of you who said we suck I was Pharaoh and Benjamin! How about this watch Shrek the Musical performed by Arsenal Tech High School then leave you criticism and I was Donkey so I would love to hear some negative comments from you great critics :| Our performance was the BEST version on RUclips and the BEST period right under Broadway! So I would love to see your comments on Shrek!

Well I do love a hater hater who can't establish his argument properly. Let us dissect:
Not everyone who criticizes is a "hater". The use of this word is a shameful trend that grants every person an easy out and immunity from criticism - no matter how unabashedly horrid their creation/performance/political stance is. Using the word "haters" to lump together every criticism and attempt dismiss all of it in one fell swoop is laziness at best and delusion of grandeur at worst. You sir are intellectually dishonest.
We're not discussing Shrek, which might have gone super well - we're discussing this particular performance. For all we care the Shrek success could have been a fluke, or Joseph could have been a string of bad luck. Focus, mate, focus. You bringing up a different performance is evidence enough that you know this one sucked so bad it doesn't compare to other productions of your team.
Finally - what sucked here. Primarily: CASTING.
1. The moment Lauren was cast as the narrator you've failed. She doesn't have the power, skill, voice nor personality to drive this performance home and it shows SO MUCH. Is she a relative of the director or a daughter of a large school sponsor? Because nepotism is about the only thing that could explain this poor decision. Nepotism or lack of any other talent on the production (the latter I doubt).
2. The moment you yourself were cast as the pharaoh was a moment of failure as well. Pharaoh has to be Elvis - period. You sir are not Elvis - not by a long shot. While vocally you were probably one of the more skilled talents there, you can't carry an Elvis impersonation and shouldn't be forced to attempt it. Sang clean, but without any personality at all - and that song in particular is all about personality.
3. Joseph, while seemingly adequate, is just that - adequate. A lead cannot be adequate - if they are they pull the whole production down. Especially if the second lead just sucks. Josh, for all the singing he has to do, is most probably a natural talent that doesn't do much voice emission training. Yeah he sings well, but the enunciation is uneven. Diaphragm, mate - use it!
The director also made poor decisions when adapting this to your team.
1. What could probably save this whole production would be one decision early on to split the Narrator role into a 3-4 (wo)man interchangeable instead of a soloist. Seeing Lauren that would be my FIRST decision there and leaving her with easier songs (opening) and having a better person carry more difficult songs. And then getting 2 more narrators makes it an artistic decision rather than a blatant statement of "yeah, she sucks, so here's a replacement for the hard parts".
2. Lightwork is very poor, which especially shows in the Canaan Days. Man I would do SO much more with the stage size you have. Oh dear lord i would compose the lighting for free just not to see this utter bullshit served raw (luckily I'm not from your country so you can't take me up on this offer :D ). Nothing was done there, NOTHING. And it could do SO much with the looks and pull the whole thing together in choreography (which by the way fails much in the moments that are not strictly scripted).
Overall for an amateur production: a solid C is most I would give. You could have done A LOT better so don't be surprised there is so much criticism directed at you.

But since you ask: I am a former stage manager and lighting designer/technician in a small stage (much smaller than yours) in one of Europe's capital cities. All personal details about your team I included above were but inferred from the performance. Still interested in responding to my opinion?

They didn't focus much on the vocal part of the 'musical' but it's still really good! Love the props! :)

My opinion
Compared to when I did this musical, the narrator was pretty bad. The narrator from mine was taught by the same person who voice coached Adele. The notes were really off. The singing could of been better. The acting was pretty ok. The timing and dances could of been better too. But it was still really cool. They had their own style but the singing...could of been trained more. For me, I give it 6/10
