Nice video. I agree completely. I bought two advanced elements advanced frame sport kayaks based off of your videos and I love them. I also have four intex inflatables. Convenience of storage and portability is more important to me so I've chosen inflatables and I've been very happy with my choices. Two weeks ago, I took five people kayaking and fit all five kayaks into the back of my SUV. No trailer needed and nothing strapped to the top of the car. I love pulling up to take a group of people kayaking and they look at me dumbfounded and ask "where the heck are the kayaks?!?!". Everyone I've taken has been very impressed at home easy it was to just show up and get going without having to do a lot of planning and prep work.
Treasure Pirate I know what you mean. I really enjoy my AE kayaks. Went out with my Sport yesterday to shoot a sunrise and also do a product review on the Stuntman GoPro backpack mount attached to the strap of my life vest. Easy setup and portability is the key here. Really don’t know the future of the 2 wilderness tarpon 120 and trailer. It seems I always go to the inflatables. Thanks for your comments.
no, it's almost 2 generations older. $400 brand new condition. 300-350 average. higher risk of getting leaks after a few uses. check all the scupper holes to ensure there is no cracking or pin holes.
Iv had inflatables .to be honest in the wind theyre terrible . But good fun in the shallows you have to be really carefull , punctures have thwarted me more than once . Thats the spoiler for me . Solids every time .for week long trips
I need one of these in my life!!!!!!

Nic!e thanks.I have the Advanced inflatable but was thinking of adding a hard kayak to the garage clutter now that I have a d full size truck
Looking at an older one like your red one, is 495 a fair price? Has a rudder installed.
495 is 50% of retail.. It really depends on its age and condition.
