That last round being frigging YONAGUNI, of all places -- the literal most remote spot in Japan, closer to Taiwan than to anywhere else in the country -- was just such a perfect way to end the stream. As soon as AZKi saw Yonaguni on that sign, you could almost feel her shaking with excitement as she realized, there is NO WAY the other two are going to guess the right island. She spent a moment -- just a moment! -- trying to find the exact spot before she was like, screw it, I'mma just click randomly and make my guess, because I have definitely just won this game. ;) I literally laughed when I saw that she did 18,000 damage with that guess. That was just... the absolute most epic finishing move in the history of competitive GeoGuessr, I think. What a finale!
So far, it seems the only strat that somewhat works against AZKi is to guess immediately once you get a clue of the general area, even if it's just the city, and hope AZKi doesn't figure it out within the next 30 seconds. It's a huge gamble, but it did work a few times during the 1v1 with Aki and again with the match against Aki and the Rosetai.
oh that 1 person (Azki) vs 4000 people (Akirose + viewers) + 6x damage buff? That turns out to be Raid Boss Battle but I guess that's the only way to defeat her 🤣
