What is said in the video is not wrong in principle. You can certainly heat a room with candles. The only question is why should you do that? It is definitely not cheaper if you calculate how many candles you would need for one room in winter. However, it could be an option in an emergency if, for example, the power goes out for an extended period of time. There are even special emergency candles for this purpose. However, the way the video is presented is quite misleading.
Good for you. and what are you going to do when the power grid goes down - and so does the gas supply - and you run out a fire wood. I will still be warm. will you Mr Engineer?
@@RyanMcKenna-u1q Simple I will use my pressurised paraffin bowl heaters. Equivalent to a 1kw radiant electric fire. Runs for 6 hours on one filling. A gallon of paraffin lasts an awful long time. And NO, I won't run out of wood, I have 3 acres of mainly birch and ash... Mr Candle power, the losses in an average living room say 3x4 metres would far outstrip what a few candles could do. Have you an idea how much energy a 1 degree rise in temperature would need? No I though not. You might just take the chill off the cupboard under the stairs with a candle.
Stinky. And loaded with danger...
Jim Carrey.😁
