If you work in a CPG company, we know that our companies increased prices during Covid and never brought them down because of profits. Other factors were due to the cost of everything else during Covid like, cost of ocean freight, fruit, plastic, glue, paper, labor, fuel, etc. Now that some of those costs have gone down, our companies still have kept the prices high.
You are absolutely correct and the best way to keep those prices down is to don’t buy the product. If you feel the prices too high, don’t buy the product. Find an alternative or do without. You can bring prices down very quickly if supplies exceed demand.

If you work in a CPG company, we know that our companies increased prices during Covid and never brought them down because of profits. Other factors were due to the cost of everything else during Covid like, cost of ocean freight, fruit, plastic, glue, paper, labor, fuel, etc. Now that some of those costs have gone down, our companies still have kept the prices high.
You are absolutely correct and the best way to keep those prices down is to don’t buy the product. If you feel the prices too high, don’t buy the product. Find an alternative or do without. You can bring prices down very quickly if supplies exceed demand.

I was a year and a few days old when Kennedy was assassinated, started working when Jimmy Carter was in office. Didn't pay enough attention to the economy as I was still in shool, gas was cheap, had a good job and life was good. Politics has changed everything, every day, all of our lives.
