- Back again with another Spore Music video. This time I had this all nice and planned out, with a storyboard. This made the project go faster and wasn't left to constant switches between WMM and Spore. This time I decided to do something a little different with a live action shot. Because, let's face it. Kind of difficult to have Spore creatures open car doors and look inside to say hello to whomever's there.
So, I hope you all enjoy this little video shot in Galactic Adventure's "adventure editor".

Une musique qui traversera le temps, c'est tellement bon, un vrai classique !
I grew up listening to The Doors. I'm a very lucky man.
What a lucky listener you were, Sir! I'm 48 y-o. I wish I had been born in their generation.
God I just love Jim Morrison (The Doors). His Voice is so Sultry & every song is a poem rolling ofF his tounge.. RIP Jim 💕
You're right. What a deep & s*xy voice he had! 😻

One of the best Songs ever, timeless 👍👏
RIDERS ON THE STORM
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house we're born
Into this world we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out alone
Riders on the storm
There's a killer on the road
His brain is squirmin' like a toad
Take a long holiday
Let your children play
If ya give this man a ride
Sweet memory will die
Killer on the road, yeah
Girl ya gotta love your man
Girl ya gotta love your man
Take him by the hand
Make him understand
The world on you depends
Our life will never end
Gotta love your man, yeah
Wow!
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house we're born
Into this world we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out alone
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
thank you, was hoping someone posted the lyrics
I love the added "whisper" of Jims voice singing along in the background.........brilliant.
+Pam Corcoran You can't unhear it!
That was actually the last thing he ever recorded for the band.
Jeremy Light yes, it’s almost eerie considering that fact
"This is the strangest life I ever known"- Jim Morrison.
Goede
😶
The Doors need no drugs to be amazing. They are a band where everything fits naturally. The piano, guitar, drums, and lyrics are cogs of the perfect size.
The Doors .. one the epic Bands ever .. There will never be anyone like Jim .. he was way ahead of his time .. see you on the otherside
I agree with a fair degree of accuracy
The last song on their last LP with Morrison. Probably their best song. It's like Kerouac on acid in a jazz club. A man with a brain squirming like a toad is out there. There's a rumble of weather sounds like something coming across a prairie from a great distance.
Best song is a big stretch. They had a lot of good songs.
+Don Bagley LOL
+Questhero101 The End and Light My Fire are their best
765sanjay Not even those two are their best. They have no best songs, they're all good in their own way. Just depends on the album.
+Don Bagley well said man...
Laying on the floor. Headphones on. Music cranked up. So far into it that I don't need acid. The whole world reduced to the beat. The voice. The Doors.
Hopefully, no one needs acid but it is enjoyable and a different experience than being into the music.
@ Guy. Exactly the same feelings in same situation laying in bed inthe dark a nite in Amsterdam long ago.Bless U Jim
i thank th lord for getting to grow up in a house where i got to wake up to music like this
with Jim singing and Manzareks' keyboards....ethereal....
A perfect music to a long trip without destine!!!
Спасибо The Doors за этот шедевр. Я не понимаю о чем поют, да и не хочу понимать. Но эта музыка делает сегодняшний день - самый дерьмовый день моей жизни, капелюшечку не таким болезненым
It was the summer after 9th grade. I had a 1930s bake light radio next to my bed with FM. I used to dial in Western Michigan's 89.1 WIDR and they would pipe in WSEO from LA late at night. I was mesmerized from the moment the bass line started. I couldn't wait to hear it again.
This is not a song, this is an experience.
Totally 👍
Agreed
The "k*ll*r" meant in this cool song was Jim. 😸😹😸😹
un clásico, me encanta esta canción, aunque pase los años sigue siendo un tomazo
The only band that make me feel free and limitless every time I listen to one of their songs ... Thank you Jim ! RIP RAY&JIM
this song is timeless
One of the BEST songs EVER!
Adriano Demarchi ROCK Rider se Onde
I was in 8th grade when Jim Morrison died. Just getting into the Music Scene and one of my earliest fav's was dead at 27 years old. My Daughter was in 8th grade and just really getting into the "Grunge", Seattle music scene when her fav, Kurt Cobain died at 27 years old. Something that her and I can share our feelings about. 27 is SO young...
Janis Joplin also died 27 years old - "the 27ers club"...
Brian Jones
Jimi Hendrix
Amy Winehouse
Jonathan Brandis (actor)
Linda Jones (soul singer)
Kirsten Pfaff (bassist of Hole band)
I love falling asleep with this song on low volume. So soothing.
The Doors are legends, six powerful, diverse, lasting albums......unreal.
Jim died before his fame died down, so all we know of him was he was a lyrical genius and never had a downfall unlike other artists like modern day Justin Bieber who have had a bumpy carrier with low points. He only got better then died, so he will always live on in fame and we will never know what would have happened if he were still alive which only makes his music better, for it was mysterious as well.
Scufed Up-. I agree totally.
and to think he wasnt a singer, such a beautiful voice pared with perfect poetry and amazing music, how i wish i could see the doors live, this is what i call music, it will forever be playing in my home for as long as i live.
Not heard in ages, amazing song. Thrown into this world, like a dog without a bone, gotta love your man.
A poetic genius brilliant man and his kingdom will never end. EVER
When I moved to San Francisco in 1969, I met a lady who was an ex-fashion model from New York. We had a date one night, and when I went to pick her up, she said we were going to a party in L.A. I said, "Cool, who's party?" She said, "Jim Morrison." I said, "Yeah, right." She said, "Well, do you want to go, or not?" What could I say? Marilyn was best friends with Pam Coursin, Jim's girlfriend. Quite a night. Jim liked his acid and Bushmills whiskey.
He didn't reply, so that's a no.
Marilyn or Pam?
Damon Sprock
Either of them,
Marilyn was my girl; Pam was Jim's girl. We showed respect.
Like I said, Marilyn was my girl. Are you lame?
To all those who ruined the music industry for smthg as trivial as money: no matter what you do with that money you will NEVER live as fully as the people with such inspiration and passion do. Live on, spend on, and listen to legends remain young through their music while you wither and die... These people affect millions of people, so many each generation, and they are dead. Imagine what they could accomplish alive. How many like these artists never see the light of the fame they deserve because.... money.
Què manera de Morrison de despedirse con èsta sublime obra. Se pueden escuchar susurros mientras Morrison canta. Era su àlma despidiéndose. Descansa en paz, joven poeta.
This song brings back vivid memories of 1971. Listening to this song on my A M radio as I fell asleep.
Need for Speed Underground 2, good times
Emin Özaltin Yeah great game and great song
NorNetwork they both rule!
Yay great times playing need for speed with that great song!
yep i have the game for my wii
omfg yes!!!! I knew that's where i recognized this song!!!
I'm so glad I was able to hear this in the days of my youth on WLS & WCFL AM from Chicago. I guess it was 1968 or 1969.
Their ART was...something else...like from another planet...Thank you for the music Ray and Jim!!!R.I.P.both of you!!!
The originality of these guys, and no lead guitar player - just incredible. I know these guys, I know the intent. I can sing Jim. Won several karaokes years ago singing LA woman,I would not go to any bar and sing karaoke if my life depended on it - ever again.
With The End the best song of the Doors!
Evergreen!
Thanks Lauren Stewart
Thanks Iron Maiden
1971 Music = Hippie Deep

+Professor Polymath sad but true!
+Professor Polymath sad but true!
so true !!!
+Professor Polymath Not true. Just a wide generalization.
Don't be silly. I can originate to this now the same as the 70's. Don't be elitist.
Morrison has a very good voice, but the solo from 2:42 is unbelievable. Master piece!
But it ain't a Morrison solo. It's instrumental and features Jan Mazarek on keyboard.
This is one of my favorite RUclips videos ever. Very nicely done.
Whether you like The Doors or not,the world would be a lesser place without this track in it,in my humble opinion.
inspirador, eu amo the doors, eu amo as portas que sao abertas, se abrirmos nossa mente.
Heard this song many time when I was a Boxer in Down Town Houston at Night, Back in 1985. Sooo Cool!
una pasada ese tema, un clásico del rock que nunca se perderá
The Doors were a soundtrack to my teen awakening
Psychédélique ,mais les portes restent ouvertes pour les amoureux de ce groupe !
I was never really into The Doors music, but this is One of my favourites
I always play this song as soon as I hear a thunderstorm approaching!

Ray: May the Doors of Perception open widely for you now and forever. Best ever.
ahhh comeon this music deserve much more then a milion... one of the best musics
rest in peace Jim!
this is one of my favorite songs love it
Such a fabulous track - I love the way it starts and ends with the sound of rainfall. Ray Manzarek's keyboard solo is awesome
If you give this man a ride he won't be out there thinking and thinking about the sweet memories because he will be inside there with you and your casket.
não canso de ouvir !!
This is the song that inspired the 1986 horror classic 'The Hitcher'.
I
I'm trying to imagine, what wonderful would have been listen to Jim, singing on stage this song. What a poetry would have been..
it would have been torture because he was usually too loaded to perform.
Oh Jim...what I wouldn't give
eternal greatness
👌
Give it to me I'm still here.
Jim Morrison has the voice of a fucking god.
and the face
had
Jim is the only man I would consider going gay for
ANTBOND004 way to much info hahhaha
I always say that Jim had the vocie of a devil, whereas Freddie Mercury had the voice of a god. Needless to say, I love both of them.
Perfect song 💖
Possibly the greatest song lyricist of all times, the most genuine anti-star for sure
"Into this house we're born, into this world we're thrown." I wonder how many of you realize that applies to ALL of us.
Probably everyone that listened to the lyrics and can understand the English language. It's not exactly a difficult concept.
THJS WRITER DOES
Moises Soto Did you ask to be born? Did you shout from your father's nutsack, "Hey dad, hurry up and bang this chick. I want out."? I didn't think so. That's the point I was trying to make in my initial comment.

Noodles37UK Love me two times, this is like 4th :P
They have too many songs to rank.
Yeah but there's just something about this one. Morrison going out in style. Plus Manzarek gets the last say, then the rain and thunder.
What remake? There was a version on NFS Underground 2.
no
One of the best and strangest videos for this song...
Doors of perception are now infinite Ray.

Sweet Dreams Jim..
Ride your life... This life happened to be a storm. Stir away from the winds, sail from the tide, swim, sink, climb,... It's a storm...A perfectly orchestrated life.
Rest in peace, my friend. I,m coming soon. Maybe for the one poker play. Who knows. That is my whish. But we'll be brothers in music. My soul - your words. Forever!
