Paul & Lynsey's Zoo Tour #25 Paignton Zoo

Day 3 took us further west to Paignton Zoo. A larger sized zoo, the zoo has many unusual species - Fishing owls, Swamp Monkey, Takin and the fantastic Tinnamou. They also housesome larger animals such as Gorillas and Orangutans but due to the turn in weather, neither were particularly active or visible. The Crocodile House was a treat, especially when one took a liking to the GoPro and saw it as dinner!
We had a great day at the zoo although a little disappointed not to see the Gorillas more, but that's just the way it is. However the zoo more than made up for it for some of the more unusual species.
