It disturbs me that this kind of thing can happen to creators like us on RUclips, but I’m going through nearly the exact same thing!
If it’s any encouragement, Dave, I think a positive is that you still have enough of an audience to “count.” If that makes sense... oftentimes when I upload now, I don’t even break 1,000 views on first day, and I used to get 5,000 on the first day of upload! I’m not really growing at all, either.
Anyway, back to you - I’m really excited to see what you do next and you’ll always have my support. I care about you, for who you are, not solely what topic you produce.

@@c0rv1db0ycr0w I *do* see everything, it just takes longer a lot of the time ;) That’s cool that you watched back in the day, I’ve made a lot of stuff just for people like you over the recent years as I then built other channels. But there’s a Podcast over here that explains what exactly was happening behind the scenes while also providing the nostalgia of all the videos on this channel over the years.

You’re the reason I started making RUclips videos and brickfilms. I love the NNN series. I’m sorry for spamming with Episode 3 stuff, but I just love the series. I respect your decision for leaving RUclips. I think you should just do what you want to do. Thank you for providing an excellent channel that covers awesome content. Even if there’s little how to build videos I’ll never unsubscribe. I hope you find something you love and stick with it, and don’t bother with other people’s opinions. That’s how I run my channel, and I hope you do too.

Well, even if this is the last video you post, it has been a fun ride. I remember finding out about you with your Lego logo video during 2014, and being so impressed, and I've stayed a subscriber ever since, not to mention all the other people you have helped and entertained. If this is the end, it's bittersweet however.
My 4-year-old son found your videos on Epic Books and has been building along side of you throughout this pandemic. We feel like you are part of our family and I just want to say thank you and give you a huge hug. We really appreciate you and hope we can grow along with you in your future endeavors. As someone who has been watching your content since the NNN days, I think many of us felt your burnout as it happened. It’s terrible to see a hobby you love lose its spark, and it’s understandable that you felt the need to take a break from it. As long as that may be.
With that said, I can’t wait to see what you make next! Especially if it involves Mario Maker 2!
Also, I hope you get to explore the NNN characters again at some point. Be that through writing, a webcomic, or whatever non-LEGO-animation medium is right for that story.

David I'm glad you spoke up about this. I know it's not the most heartwarming news but I'm happy to see an update with you in general. I'm glad you're not in as bad a place as you used to be.
At first I watched this channel for some excellent Lego animation. But I've come to enjoy the changes over time for tutorials, unique creations, and video game play. But most importantly, through all that time I got to learn more about you as a person. And that's what I subscribe to channels for, to learn more about the people who enjoy the same hobbies that I do in their own unique way. Sometimes they enjoy something else beyond my hobbies but I respect their enthusiasm.
so whatever plans you have coming up next, take them at your own leisure and don't worry about the constant changing State of RUclips. Enjoy what you want to enjoy and I'll happily be here for the ride. :)

Man I have been watching your videos since you’ve been doing how to builds hope you doing good
Unfortunately these changes are spread all over on RUclips, e-commerce market places. Also we are all the time subject to in-country change of economic winds, government changes. My husband and I have been through this in my country and with market places like Mercado Livre as well. In 2016 we had to layoff our 2 employees, cancel the rent of an office/operational facility and transfer our stock to a small self-storage unit and go back to work from our apartment living room and all this because of politics turbulence in Brazil. I started searching for a job in the corporate world and I was lucky enough that my previous experience paid off and I got a job in a multinational company. Down here for the masses it is what it is. Keep you head up!

No Matter What We Will Support You!
You did what you needed to do that was best for you, and that is the most important. Take care of yourself first. Last year I started a channel with the lofty goal of producing a video every day. Which quickly made me unhappy with the whole process. After three months I quit the channel and focused more on designing, which was the best decision I could have made.
No matter what other people want from you, what you need from yourself is to make you happy.
Okay, so keep on going on and being you Dave! You were a HUGE part of my life after I saw one of you’re videos in my recommended (How to build Mega Man and Proto Man) and then I met you and bought your book at BrickWorld and now you stopped. But if you’re having a hard time, it’s okay to take a break or even stop so...you don’t have to do LEGO builds anymore. So I guess what I’m trying to say is...thanks. But for real....WHERE’D YOU GET THAT SHIRT???
