What a perfect compilation to shake off the winter blahs. It has been overcast and alternating b/t rain, sleet and snow for the last 2 weeks here. My husband wasn't home so I picked our cat up and waltzed him around the fireplace room. He's now escounced on his cat tree on the balconey watching me with a wary eye. LOL
We're happy to know that our compilation raised your spirits! Horrible weather can't compete with the inherent joy and light of Strauss II's music. Also, imagining your cat's face as you waltzed him around the room genuinely made us laugh. Thank you and happy New Year! ✨

I was a Motherless child who grew up w/ many relatives but w/o very much emotional attention. But while living w/ Grandparents who always went to bed early they would allow me to stay up and let me listen to Classical Music. This is how I developed such a love and appreciation for the composers and their absolute beautiful compositions straight from Heaven.

When my first born daughter was in her infancy I used to dance around the living room holding her while listening to Strauss's waltzes! I'm also a former retired NYC fashion illustrator/painter and floral designer and a pianist/composer of a New England folk opera and other pieces for piano which has been performed in public and now today she's a keyboardist and composer and manages heavy metal bands. "The apples don't fall far from the tree"! Thanks again for another great musical feast! ♥♥♥🎼🎹🎵 Off to do more painting while listening to the late great Strauss, may he rest in peace~

The waltz at 34:36 opens in such an exciting and upbeat way. It’s actually very upbeat and exciting throughout the whole thing. But I’m just imagining playing that by somebody’s head to wake them up in the morning 😂 Like you’re peacefully sleeping and then all of a sudden you hear loud clapping, symbols, a whole orchestra blasting in your ear 😂 You’d probably wake up quickly
