Great video Gary! A ton of info to unpack on this one. Going to have to check this one out a few times more. Id like to see you add this one to the camping video in some fashion.

Great presentation Gaz, 💯 agree that solar is the future and fascinating. I've bought some great solar gear from Temu (not plugging them). However, they have some great dollar wise gadgets that work. Really enjoy your presentations.

So far the solar ive tested from temu is... lack luster. Except for the one that came with the mini power box that one was awesome

How about a home full size fridge?

It will easily power a full house fridge and freezer at the same time no problem.

I kinda want to know if that battery can really handle a bigger inverter and still have decent battery life. Can I power my washer/dryer with it during a power outage? Your typical Jackery can't, but maybe this could?

Its all about the specs you need to use honestly, all the numbers are there just figure out your own needs and run a calculator online. If you want to run heavier loads, run two of them together with a 3k watt

Make the video shorter and two the point how long will it run that heater before its dead. Your talking about running 120 when most homes have 100 watt panel but your also running 2000 watt inverter. Your all over the map you said build one but your not giving then average run time info. Most campers ru. What 4 to 600 watt solar panel options whats the charge time on that set up with 400 solar watts like i said average persons set up saying cheaper to build your own. So stay on point start with say showing a jackery as you stated in video with say 2000 watt jackery is about 2000 bucks so go on that for the price of build. Now second let us know price of what you bought wire inverter the reader then you need charge controller what did that all cost you. Then you didnt wire up any panels to it but video talked about that show a real set up you have it sitting on battery that isnt near right and you also wanna show them run time of that heater from full battery to dead cuz then they would under stand what they have with your cheap set up. Also you say camping and home back up you didnt show any info to help people decide but with your video didnt show prices of panels to make it full solar set up so it better than gas right now they know how much gas is needed roughly to run half load and they just add gas start it and plug in what you want done

Ok… good points, I’m going to say right off, I’m math stupid! I sort of understand and Gary you have by far explained it best, just speak a little slower… now, just going through a short 36 hour outage with hurricane Francine, I’m looking to have something that can run my fridge, fan, maybe my tv for a few hours at a time and recharge my iPad and phone for say, 48 hours. Now that being said, I’m cool with having to recharge with solar panels, BUT, it would obviously have to be after the storm passed. So initial run time would have to be about 24 hrs before I could begin recharging. See where I’m going? I’ve looked (obviously not in the right places) to find something online that tells me what I need. No luck, I may be searching with the wrong words. I don’t mind building my own, I just need to know how much battery power I need to last that long, is 2000 inverter enough or do I need 3000, and what else I need to build a functional temporary backup. Fortunately, if it’s going to be a long period of time (and during hurricane season in south Louisiana it can get REALLY hot, REALLY fast with out a/c) I have access to someone with a whole house gen I can go to stay if need be.
Sorry for the VERY long post but hopefully I can a little more info to make this a reality. Thanks in advance for any info!
Really love your channel Gary @UnboxAnalysisOfficial! Purchased a patriot water jug, really nice!
