I love watching the vedeos i have learn so much with you Sr.... I have ai Mercedes c250td w202 from1999 om605 engine...i want to remove the injectors and prechamber but i don't know
Can an bad pre chamber cause engine to flood and smoke? It om606 the guy that sold me a car lied about mechanical condition of it. And when car cools of there is no combustion in #6 and it's just smokes and misfire horrible until it gets really hot. Than it's petty good. Compression is 280 on cold and 255 on warm engine, but only in #6 all the rest are around 360psi. Leak down shows 80% leakage. That engine is toast? Or maybe It could get a little better if, after I find what is causing all this? Like a pre chamber? Have "new" injectors didn't help at all.
Woooow l learn a lot ,mine its C250 w202 605 engine it doesent start it cranks nicely but fail to start ,but if you use quickstart it start then it sound a bit rough and smoke allso in idle and drive too and the oil is leaking on pre chamber holes as it idle about 2mins and if you open the engine oil cap it that oil goes down ,can you help me sir how do l do with this engines .Thank you inadvance
I had oil on serveral of my injectors, is that most likely my piston rings? also how wrong can the opening pressure get if u don't adjust it when changing injector tips?
It could be piston rings, valve seals, or leaking turbo. Compression test would help. It is hit or miss when replacing nozzles. Sometimes pressures are close - sometimes not. Best to test and adjust
Probably not. If you know your radiator is clean, coolant is correct and new thermostat installed, then I would recommend you get a cooling system pressure test with the engine warm. You could have a small leak in your head gasket or a small crack in your cylinder head.

Wow, again a broken prechamber. How did it happen?
Hopefully there are more series comming ;-)
Kent, you are genius!

Yikes!! Another one?! Do you think this has anything to do with our "ultra low sulphur" diesel on the market now?
No. This problem is due to excessive heat caused by over fueling ( ie bad fuel injector )
The size of injetors deep socket.. and the socket to anscru the colar nut.... Can you please tellme i really appreciate if you could help me...regards
If the ball onde the prechamber is missig still reparable ir need a new prechamber... thankyou
Not repairable
Thankyou...

Can a damaged combustion chamber cause the car to overheat under load. Driving perfect but as soon as there is an uphill it overheats within a minute
Probably not. If you know your radiator is clean, coolant is correct and new thermostat installed, then I would recommend you get a cooling system pressure test with the engine warm. You could have a small leak in your head gasket or a small crack in your cylinder head.
