  • With the soaring popularity of Ozempic and its hefty price tag, many are turning to berberine, a natural plant compound, as a more affordable alternative. But is berberine truly "nature's Ozempic"?
In this video, we'll delve into the science behind both berberine and Ozempic, comparing their mechanisms of action and their effectiveness in weight loss. We'll also explore the potential side effects of berberine and discuss whether it's a safe and effective substitute for Ozempic.
    Key Points:
Berberine is a natural plant compound with potential health benefits, including improved insulin sensitivity and reduced blood sugar levels.
Ozempic is a prescription medication that mimics a hormone in the body to promote satiety and weight loss.
While berberine may have some weight loss benefits, it is not as effective as Ozempic.
Berberine can cause side effects such as stomach upset, nausea, and diarrhea.

    Thoughts?
In my opinion however you try to lose weight, in order for long term results you have to put in the work to have physical activity and a healthy diet. In the long run there really aren’t any shortcuts.

Berberine for sure! Everyone I know that was on Ozempic... are now off! People can not handle the side effects and cost.

I lost 10 pounds in my first month of berberine no new exercise or diet change, I'm going to keep going. First week I did experience some nausea but that went away.

For the past year I have been taking a 400mg Berberine plus ALA 100 mg capsule 2x daily with meals. The biggest improvement noted in my blood work was with my cholesterol. This was moderate. My diet and exercise routine wasn’t modified in any way. I have not lost any weight but it has stabilized. Very rarely I notice mild stomach upset if I take it with a very light meal.

Is this ok to take if you don’t have a gallbladder?

No mention of Ozempic and stomach paralysis. No mention of Ozempic and suicidal ideation. Ozempic is also a lifetime drug. As soon as you come off of Ozempic, most people will regain the weight because the root cause of poor eating has not changed.

Do you think Berberine would help with maintenance after you reached your goal on Ozempic?

It's not likely to be harmful, and may be helpful
