Just played this over a friends house on Xbox, was really wanting a console for it until I played not sure if it’s ment to be like it but the button layout compared to ufc3 is awful, I was pressing/flicking Right stick and it done nothing, Y was going for a clinch instead of a punch and B for a takedown instead of a kick, seems like all I need to do is just spam X to do all randomised punches absolutely awful put me right off the game 😂
Controls have changed twice since ufc 3
@@NazUFC I find them awful, ufc4 wasn’t too bad but ufc2 and 5 are terrible
Say, how do you learn to press the buttons so fast? I still struggling sometimes to press the correct set of buttons.

Why is this game so shitty why is my opponent able to throw 145 strikes in the first round.. with damn near no stamina problem, while I’m attacking body.

How do I get off any kind of damage to people? Whenever I play online they are constantly out of range yet when I try to escape from them they are always in my face . I try slip counters and most of the time I do a slip straight or hook and it doesn’t stop their combos and does almost no damage. Is there some kind of technique to stay out of range and piece up opponents? I get punished for throwing jabs all the time it’s like the most important punch in combat sports is useless in ufc 5
Are you using fighters with a higher footwork stat? Try one with the fast feet perks, like Wonderboy?
@@tarancehill651 it’s the same for any style of fighter. I feel like I can never get any combos off but I always get caught w them
