There is a reason most PDs have bulletproof glass. People are insane. When I was with the PD, a lady found a car with a trunk full of pipe bombs and drove it to all the way to the police dept. and parked it at HQ. She calmly got out and walked her dumb ass in and told the desk sergeant that she found a bunch of homemade bombs in the trunk of a car. The desk sergeant was like,”Ok that’s terrifying, where is the vehicle? I’ll mobilize EOD right away.” I swear to god she says, “Oh it’s that blue one parked right out front, I think it’s my neighbor’s bf making em and…”. Sergeant almost had a heart attack and was no longer listening. Pipe bombs are EXTREMELY unstable and honestly I have no idea how she survived the drive. I get to HQ the next day and there are tape remnants and little bits of plastic debris all over the place. That’s when I found out someone nearly got a Darwin Award to hoping to get some type of best citizen award.

I don’t know that show but I can tell you this 100% did happen in the metro ATL area in 2008. I know she tried TWICE. She drove up to the jail but once she figured out that sheriffs only police the jail and she needed the actual police, she drove over to our central HQ. I guess the desk sergeant wasn’t around so she was driving all over with these pipe bombs rattling around in the trunk. I don’t have the report in front of me but if the keys weren’t in the vehicle, she had access to them. She and I think it was a neighbor but possibly a family member both used the car at the time. A male known to the neighbor (boyfriend, I think) was who she suspected. The car was parked out on the street and she was going to ask to borrow it when she opened the trunk to put her bag in and surprise! Those look like bombs! I do remember in one of the many reports filed she was quoted as saying, “I wasn’t sure they were bombs but they looked like bombs so I brought them straight here!” I think in one year I narrowly avoided being blown up at least 3 times. If I hadn’t seen it, read the reports, read about it in the newspaper, etc, l probably wouldn’t think it was real

I am telling everyone I can about this guy. What a talent! My roommate just said "Sometimes when comedians take a step back from comedy and take a stance on something, I'm like, whatever, but not only is he funny, I was hanging on his every word and so invested in his insights."
I love when he smiles. It’s like when SNL cast members break. There is something so innocent and charming in the internal humor they are experiencing. Plus, Josh is the dude! Funny, smart, poignant. If you do any performances in California near me, bro, I’ll be there.
As soon as you started the story for ignoring people hard core in NY, I knew you would be on a train. My sister warned me before I came, not to smile at anyone. She said I know you, dont smile at anyone, dont speak to anyone. She was late to the bus stop and I just cornered myself. But once she scooped me I let my guard down. On the train I smiled at a woman and said good day. Worst mistake. She was legit insane. Got in my face telling me all kinds of seriously paranoid schizophrenic screens. I looked around for help and everyone around me in that sardine can of a train was looking away, looking at their phone, turned away. My own sister was deep in her phone ignoring our existence. Once the lady got of the train my sister looked at me and said, I told you stop smiling all the time and not to speak to anyone and literally everyone near her laughed.
I can relate. Went there, from a small town, walking around saying hello to people on the sidewalk. Luckily I figured it out quickly, before I took the subway.

The video you're referring to, there were cops, they saw her come in, they were hiding because they didn't know if the glass in the doors was bulletproof (it was), and she was hella intoxicated from what I remember. They had locked the front doors remotely so she couldn't leave, which agitated her. I'm surprised I know exactly which one you're talking about. She wanted to be caught and tried to do suicide by cop. She also lit up a cigarette at one point. EDIT: "Will Smith turned him into a tambourine" made me laugh so hard I almost pissed, god I love your material.
That’s pretty sad. But never involve others in your suicide. That includes those who murder/suicide. I also go through the ideation, but never to hurt others. That’s just some narcissistic BS. If you think others couldn’t handle you being dead. You’re wrong. They could. DO call for help though. Don’t have a gun or alcohol in your house if you have. Those feelings.
@@JDMimeTHEFIRST idk if it’s fair to call people who complete/attempt ‘death by cop suicide’ narcissistic. It’s pretty f-ed up there’s a good chance someone (depending on their race, socioeconomic status, etc) will be killed by the police and won’t even have to commit a crime or physically hurt anyone else first. If the police in the US didn’t kill people so frequently, this plan for suicide wouldn’t even be possible. Plus the police kill suicidal people who aren’t trying to be killed and want help. Even when they are unarmed or just have a knife and it would’ve been very possible to deescalate the situation then get the person to a hospital but the cops don’t even try
We should have a new favorite white woman of the week every week until we run out of white women to appreciate (their craziness/entitlement/audacity *cough cough*)
It's telling how the crowd got real quiet when you said Jada was not responsible for what a grown man chose to do with his own body and that it was possible for him to have even a tiny bit of responsibility in a marriage. I guess it's uncomfortable to think about how easily women are blamed for everything.
It's so crazy how almost EVERYONE is blaming her for all the marital issues. I have yet to hear one person (beyond Josh) say "hey man, Will could get a divorce if he wanted." Now, granted she should probably stop talking because we know enough (too much😅) at this point, but unless Will is being held hostage, he's free to go if she's doing too much for him.
Except most people view Will as a victim of domestic abuse, because men can also be victims (and it's especially engrained into the cultural zeitgeist atm bc of the Depp-Heard trial), so it's not that simple
@heyryanisonx3141 No one said men cannot be victims of abuse. That would be a huge oversimplification. The fact that men can be victims of abuse does not contradict that both people (of any gender) have a responsibility to a relationship.
You are such an amazing talent .. the way you approach your topics are hilarious.. Comedy is mind blowing and hard at the same time. You love what you do. I am from Trinidad and Tobago the Caribbean sends their love❤️
When comedians complain about so-called "PC culture" and not be able to say what they want...Josh is a perfect antithesis to that. He brings smart, well researched, and timely comedy that not only holds a life lesson he's learned but also brings a genuine belly-deep laugh from the viewer. I truly wish other comedians who complain about not being able to be toxic "like the old days" would just stop being lazy, actually work on being a better comedian, and take a page from Josh Johnson and actually create something for folks to enjoy.
I love Josh's commentary in every way, his Daily Show work's so amusing to me as well. It's insane how often he's putting out new content, to me, I'm not used to it and I love it - fresh sets that come off polished, so much talent.
Love this man. One of the only comedians I actually think is as funny in person as online/virtually. Best part of the Trevor Noah show I went to and it was my second time seeing him (Josh) in person.

I am telling everyone I can about this guy. What a talent! My roommate just said "Sometimes when comedians take a step back from comedy and take a stance on something, I'm like, whatever, but not only is he funny, I was hanging on his every word and so invested in his insights."
Dude you unpacked that so objectively and fair, while still getting laughs. Well done.
The tambourine joke based off the Chris Rock Netflix special is hilarious
😂 so good... I just didn't NOT cry 🤣
I stumbled on this young comic by scrolling and I just can't get enough of him. I would love to see him in person. 🌟
I can’t believe I’m just seeing you. You’re funny as hell, lol. In the most relaxed and calm way possible. Very conversationally funny.
I can't wait to see what Josh is going to say 😅
Hear? Unless you’re deaf and you’re reading generated captions
@@snacking5908smell?
@@snacking5908What? She put that comment up before she watched the video She was just expressing her excitement brother.
Take it easy. 😂👍
I love when he smiles. It’s like when SNL cast members break. There is something so innocent and charming in the internal humor they are experiencing. Plus, Josh is the dude! Funny, smart, poignant. If you do any performances in California near me, bro, I’ll be there.
Crack being an entry level job in Baltimore is classic!! Lol.
For the past couple years your videos have been popping up on my feed, and I just want to commend you for how much your comedy has progressed 👍
That shit is sad. I mean, your story is funny, but I f'king hate it.
As a born and raised NYer, I knew it was the train. And you deserve that ish. Ppl think it's a joke when I say we don't talk to strangers...the NY way
Yeah, a few years ago a psychologist diagnosed the different regions. The Northeast? 🕵"Neurotic"
I can relate. Went there, from a small town, walking around saying hello to people on the sidewalk. Luckily I figured it out quickly, before I took the subway.
I could _hear_ her intonation as I read the last part of the last sentence! 😂
Its just crazy... this dude is like a newspaper that makes me laugh every day!
Josh Johnson is one of the funniest humans ever!! Just a pure comedic genius!!! Keep doing what you are doing!! I share your stuff with everyone I know!!!
I’m looking forward to Josh getting the chance to host SNL one day, should that ever happen I think that would bring laughter and joy to many. Dudes hilarious!
That Tupac died to get away from Jada had me on the floor 😂 😅 😂 😅
@@Givebackthescarfcouldn't have said it better myself 💯
Guys she is crazy. Her and Tupac were never even together!!
@@bettersecret1499 yeah and? They were friends before either of them ever became famous. By the way, Will knew the entire time how Jada felt about Tupac and he's accepted it for 30+ years. So it'll do you good to mind your own business.
@@ladyyananumber1200They were friends not lovers. Telling people on the internet to mind their own business is mind boggling...lol it's the f*cking internet.
Josh your type of comedy is about as clean as it can possibly be in this day and age I applaud you for being so genuine and observant in your skill sir! And yes I listen to other comedians who champion the four letter words often and laugh my butt off at those too, this is just refreshing to hear. It’s a brand of comedy that so many can, do, and should appreciate also. Keep it up man!
I am from Africa and watching Josh feels like I'm getting my weekly fix 🙈. I actually have to watch something from Josh everyday to get my guffaws in and wear a stupid smile throughout the day. Keep rising, lil bruv! (And yes in my head I adopted you 😁😁)
What part of Africa are you from?
@@WeabooScourgeKiller I am from (and live in) Uganda 🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬
If this comedian has the right audience, he can bring it home. Looks like he has a promising future.
I love this kid ! Highly insightful and witty observations on a wide array of topics
He's so cute and hilarious! He gives you the feeling he's only here to explain his thoughts and you're not supposed to laugh about it. I expect it's the notebook for stand-up.
Watching Josh put his 10,000 hours in was probably the best thing to come out of the writers strike
Hahaha…a commercial came on at a funny time.
“The more I listen to Jada, the more I realize… (commercial cuts in…We need stories; we need stories to understand ourselves)…..”
😂😂😂
Got here just in time, was having an awful day and then got into RUclips - saw the counter going down and I knew, my afternoon was gonna kill it. Thanks Josh, we love you!!!
Omg I laugh-cried during - one ball out - that’s the NYC
Philadelphia is waiting patiently for you to share your genius!
I'll be there when it happens
Would LOVE to see Josh in Philly at Helium or Punchline or anywhere!
@@J.CherieAmourhe performed at the punchbowl before! I think it was in 2022. He was amazing!
@@MiscellaneousTopics haha, you are correct. Checked my calendar to be sure and it was July 29, 2022. I was there 😄 - but would still love to see him again!!
He's gonna be in Philly June 20-22! I'll definitely be there!
“… Tupac died to get away from her” killed me 😂
Divorce would be a failure he cannot accept, Jesus josh I think you need to meet him you could save his life that was so real!
No, a divorce would cost him 60%, at minimum, of his estate, which is in the 100s of millions.
Josh is the education our kids need!
Somebody give JJ the bag he deserves to create & produce the special he wants. I need a great comedy special I’m so tired of the over saturated bland stuff that’s everywhere! Dudes got a gift for story telling and keeping attention
This brother cracks me up so much lol! How does he not have a Netflix special yet??? That is a travesty!
The Tamborine joke was so perfectly subtle
Been clocking this guy for a few years now. He's really solid as a writer. I'm looking forward to more from him.
The look directly in the camera gave The Office vibes and also implied that his videos be getting 2million views and no one recognizes him in real life anyways.
Thank you Josh, much appreciation to ya
Fourth Wall break!❤
I love the bits about Jada and Will. Josh is my newest/favorite hilarious discovery!!
Thank you for the info! And yes! The tambourine line was a legit gawf inducer. I'm so disappointed at the crowds lack of responce to it
“Tambourine” is also the name of one of Rock’s stand up specials from a few years ago😂
Yeah, finding the news reports that she might have been suicidal made that bit less fun. I'm glad I watched the whole video first.
This young man is naturally gifted. Sky is the limited for him ✨️ just keep doing what you do best 👌 👍 😍 ❤
To come up with an entirely new *great* tight five every week is nothing short of incredible. This man quickly becoming one of the all time greats.
that’s a joke right
Josh Johnson has the face of an angel. 😇
Dear Josh, please make “probably my favorite white woman of the week” a recurring joke theme
😂😂😂 👍🏽
I'm part of the 2 million views haha
Yup I saw that video 2 weeks ago too and my jaw dropped at her privilege
We should have a new favorite white woman of the week every week until we run out of white women to appreciate (their craziness/entitlement/audacity *cough cough*)
I am also saying this, being a white woman myself. I, too, am ridiculous 😅😂🤫🫣😶🌫️☠️😤😭🤡😖👻
His storytelling comedic abilities has to be a gift. He is funny and engaging.
@@senojoy12473 lol, yeah, we really know too much.
BS
You are such an amazing talent .. the way you approach your topics are hilarious.. Comedy is mind blowing and hard at the same time. You love what you do. I am from Trinidad and Tobago the Caribbean sends their love❤️
they didn’t catch that tambourine bar, that was clever as hell
Best reference of a joke of the topic person who made the joke being referred to.
How could you go see him and not wet yourself laughing? Great comedian for now and the future. ❤🎉❤
How are you keeping up this constant level of quality???? AWESOME!!!
Josh is awesome.... love his humour.
mans said "defending your neighbour" lmfao
I knew the video the MOMENT he started describing it. Me and my 2 million friends love that video.
saw the video of the woman with the gun at the police station before seeing this...he was spot on with what happened lol
I had the chance to see the video but didn't click it. His telling it was great and I like what he think the lady was saying
Was it the one in Bristol?
When comedians complain about so-called "PC culture" and not be able to say what they want...Josh is a perfect antithesis to that. He brings smart, well researched, and timely comedy that not only holds a life lesson he's learned but also brings a genuine belly-deep laugh from the viewer. I truly wish other comedians who complain about not being able to be toxic "like the old days" would just stop being lazy, actually work on being a better comedian, and take a page from Josh Johnson and actually create something for folks to enjoy.
That Chris Rock tambourine line was elite🤣🤣
So so funny, unique perspective, originality, personality, wonderfully real, let,'s us see the Comedy in everyday events. God Bless You Sir❤
I love Josh's commentary in every way, his Daily Show work's so amusing to me as well. It's insane how often he's putting out new content, to me, I'm not used to it and I love it - fresh sets that come off polished, so much talent.

Josh you truly are going to be a legend in comedy. Every show I've watched on RUclips has been hilarious. I can't wait to see a show live.
The playdate joke got me wheezing
Love this man. One of the only comedians I actually think is as funny in person as online/virtually. Best part of the Trevor Noah show I went to and it was my second time seeing him (Josh) in person.
This should be one of his best 😂
And it was! Loved this set. Please come to northern Cali & I don’t mean SF. A lot of your fans are a couple hrs north & love you
👏👏👏 you breakdown that relationship in a quick clip better than any sitdown. Glad YT suggested your clip.
