I agree, I dislike how everyone has a dev kit in ark official pvp. Settings should be optimized in default graphics and unchangeable so that everyone is fighting on equal grounds.

The first time I died I constantly got 80-120 fps and my game was smooth as now i do it it’s 50 fps max

You need to cap your frames at 60fps! It's pointless to let it go higher!
depends on you monitor refresh rate so no it is not pointless - but you should always choose an fps cap that fits your monitor
