Thank you from the states...I am 20 months post accident and still not in proper care. Unknown to me, prior to the accident, i had a history of Evulsion fractures on both ends of the right clavicle? How does one go thru that without knowing?! It seems important intrying to heal my SC joint which will just not calm down... seeing your expertise inspired me to seek focused care by a shoulder only professional. THANK YOU!

I’m 5 weeks in 4 weeks of rehab doing really well but the AC joint still looks bigger on the injured side. How long will that take to sort out bc I believe that will effect range of movement

Honestly the most useful information I've found since my injury. Thank you so much for explaining the options so clearly. I'm 3 weeks post a Type 3 injury and working hard on my rehab to return to sport. Your advice is so appreciated!

I am over 2 months since type 3 AC. My Ortho agreed for my MRI request but it came back inconclusive. Turns out his request was for gen shoulder pain. In the tube I was with arm and shoulder down and I feel it wasn't obvious fro them to search for the severed ligments and the AC joint was resting in place. The Ortho jus read the imaging report by others. He gave me a cortizone shot for the surrounding inflamation (1.3 months after injury by the time I finally get to this point). The inflamation likely caused by the free floating clavicle tearing into surrounding tissue. The Orthos said "you waon't get surgery on that shoulder". Second opinion. WIsh this lady was around TOmball Texas.

Hi, I had an ac injury it was bad before but it’s good rn, didn’t check myself in any doctor or anything but my parent took me to someone who know those types of injuries at his home, hispanic, I carried a long pole on shoulder at work and my ac and felt my ac join went down and heard a 2 crack or something but it doesn’t show much, but it couldn’t move my arm at all before, but rn I can move like normally now but I still get tender pain on my ac joint it’s like a sore pain and it doesn’t go away, I can lay my arm in a position where it relaxes it and I can be able to somewhere hear it rub and cracking a bit like a rubbing between each other so I wanna know how to heal it completely bc I wanna start working out it’s my passion :(but I don’t wanna risk hurting my ac more, bc I can workout but I feel discomfort and tender pain when I workout so I don’t wanna risk making it worse
