Greg, looks like a great time. One of the biggest pike I have ever caught came out of spinney. I dont fish it often because all I have is a canoe and I have never been there where it didnt start blowing like crazy in the afternoon. I second the suggestion about the HD lures, they work best when tying a small piece of mono to it and then attach that to your main line. I fish the HD trout series all the time, they have been pretty killer. I've recently been using a gulp minnow on a jig head. Let me know if you ever want to get out and fish or bird hunt (ive been enjoying your bird hunting videos too), I have a yellow lab trained to flush birds and live in Colorado Springs.
Great vid !
Thanks Ryan! Really appreciate it!

Thanks for the feedback Jeremy. Might have to meet up in the future!
@@gregroden8523 sure thing, hit me up anytime, I’d be happy to go out and catch some fish or shoot some birds.
I've lived here in CO for most of my adult life and I've never fished Spinney! Maybe I'll go this fall.
That’s funny that we both had never fished such a famous lake. I’ll definitely fish it with you this fall if you want to meet up.
Great video! How deep were you able to get the hornet down at Spinney? Also Dynamic lures work much better without a swivel for whatever reason
Hey Freddie! I adjust the depth of my hornet(using leadcore) depending on the the bottom structure and depth. Thanks for the tip on the HD lure!
