1:55. Alice Belcher made two appearances with the Three Stooges. Her first 'appearance' was in the 1935 short Horses' Collars in a photograph as the wife of the Stooges' boss, Detective Hyden Zeke. Her second appearance was as a courtroom spectator in the 1936 short Disorder In The Court.
Glad you made this comment because I saw her picture and the first thought that came to me was “She looks like the juror from Disorder in the Court who gave the defense attorney her phone number,” but I wasn’t sure
0:09. Every time I see the name Alice Brady, I think of The Brady Bunch, seeing as how the housekeeper's name was Alice, and that she worked for the Brady's.
You should catch Alice Brady #1 in some of her 1930’s movies. She was often the comic relief as a scatterbrained ditz. Nobody played that type better. It allowed the other actors to “ham it up” with eye rolls and pained expressions right into the camera. She was a riot! The last movie she appeared in was “Young Mr. Lincoln” with Henry Fonda. She was so ill with cancer that she was barely recognizable. It was a small part that required a serious portrayal, so that too made her hard to spot. She’s every bit as entertaining as The Brady Bunch’s Alice.
5:25. Jack Duffy appeared in the Three Stooges shorts Restless Knights, and Pop Goes The Easel, both 1935.

W.B. YEATS brillent man - one of the founders of the Abbey Theatre in Dublin - one of the greatest poets ever to have lived (in my humble opinion)
To think that my dad was 1 year old when these people passed away.
