This is so awesome. I love hearing stories about songs I grew up with. Desmond Child is not a household name, but man he was a big part of so many iconic songs. He really is a legend in his own right

Bon Jovi at their height was much like Journey , they had a song you liked or loved and you had an album or two . Slippery and NJ are power pop masterclasses . Richie is such an extraordinary musician and his back up vocals were as important as Michael Anthony and VH .

Bon Jovi's first "Shot Through The Heart" is a great song on their debut album. Has one of my favorite lyrics:
"Baby does what baby please, Baby must have what she sees, Now this time the tables turn, and Baby just got burned!"
