The Vamp who had the helmet ripped off his head gave a quick reason for Whistler was still alive. When he shot himself he hadn't turned yet, so a silver bullet would have been no different than a regular bullet. He turned after the shot, which is he was still alive. We know that a human who has been bitten can turn after death, because it happened to Blades mother.
fun facts , the dirtector of this movie directed hellboy and hellboy 2 the golden army . the woman who was asking nomak questions a theblood bank played a doctor in hellboy , the actor who played nomak played the main villian in hellboy 2 the golden army . hellboy was played by ron pearlman who played the bald vampire with the mini bomb in the back of his head .
I love this movie. For me, Blade 2 is one of those great sequels that is as good as it's great predecessor. Also, as a lifetime Red Dwarf fan, I love Danny John-Jules in this but when you give that man fangs I'm gonna see Cat. I do love how you can see the ideas Del Toro uses later in The Strain in this film.
Fun facts time...Snipes and Donnie Yen had alot of fight choreography (Concepts)that werent used in the film, which happens alot in action martial arts films and Snipes has talked about.
I love both of y'all but it's always hilarious when she says Justin like she's mad at you for her having to see something disgusting. She can't do nothing but take it out on you😂
JV, I think you miss the connection. Not all masculine connections need to have hugs and tears but strength, trust, and honor. I definitely saw their connection and I would think trying to save someone for over two years displays that. This would be popular in theaters today, still.
Jane having her favorite wrestler be Razor Ramon… She just earned major cool points! “Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don't last, but BAD GUYS do.”
Wesley Snipes was legit. He did all his stunts and fighting. He began training in martial arts when he was 12 years old. He has a 5th degree black belt in Shotokan karate and a 2nd degree black belt in Hapkido
Blade was the first DECENT black super hero movie, but before that there was 'Steel' starring Shaq, and earlier still 'Meteor Man', and comedy hero movie 'Blankman'
Spawn starring Michael Jai White was released in 1997 a year before Blade . A 1977 Blaxploitation film called "Abar, The First Black Superman" was released. One of those low budget 70's movies filmed in Los Angeles. The film didn't really explain what Abar's powers were and they weren't even remotely similar to Superman's abilities. As far as I can tell it looked like Abar could change reality with his thoughts?? Honestly the plot and dialogue were all over the place. This movie would definitely fall under category of The best of Bad Acting. Also another long forgotten was a Saturday morning cartoon short called Super Stretch and Microwoman. A married superhero couple that just happened to be black. The Husband could stretch like Mr.Fantastic and the wife could shrink like Ant-man.
It’s not very good. I mean, it’s Blade, so it’s still gonna be fun, but the villain is pretty weak & the fight choreography is considerably worse than the 1st or 2nd films. Ryan Reynolds & Jessica Biel are in it, but neither do much.
Bloodier and more violent than the first. Yeah Guillermo Del Torro knows how to make anything into a subtle horror film Pan’s Labyrinth still give me the willies. The plot was predictable I saw Blade being betrayed from a mile away glad to see Whistler alive of the two he’s the wise guy to Blade’s straight man and their comedic dynamic is almost as good parent figure surrogate child relationship. The end of Blade killing the vampire he let go remember he said ‘catch you later’ and he kept his word he did catch him in the end.
22:43 - Yeah.. That's probably not why your friend named Wesley was called "Pipes". Wesley Pipes was a pretty prominent black adult star in the late 90s-00s. 🤐
Well of course he's more fun in Demolition Man. That's a more fun, borderline comedy, movie. Not "better" (although I think Demolition Man is GREAT) just funnier..
Hancock is a 2008 American superhero film directed by Peter Berg from a screenplay by Vince Gilligan and Vy Vincent Ngo. The film stars Will Smith, Charlize Theron, and Jason Bateman.
When Reinhardt ask if Blade can blush it's a double meaning. The fact that Blade is half human is one the other is the fact that Blade is black and Reinhardt is known as a Nazi Vampire.
The Blade movies were never under the radar. They were hugely popular and cemented Wesley Snipes as one of the top stars of the 90s. Social media didn't exist back then so that's why to YOU it seems like it wasn't popular. You were probably too young when it was the talk of the town by young adults in the 90s just like The Matrix and X-Men. Those films franchises were kept alive for years after the early phenomenon. Blade wasn't.
Loved that you two enjoyed this flick~! Looking forward to you two watching Blade Trinity. While it doesn't have the best reputation, I personally enjoyed it.
the vampire with blonde top hair is Vince from The Fast and Furious and the vampire with the sword is Donnie Yen. he also has some great Martial Arts movies
59:13- Oh my gosh. Ultimate Warrior is my favorite too. Coolest moment in Wrestlung history, for me is him and Hulk Hogan reaching in the sky for the Greco-Roman knuckle lock.
The Meteor Man, Blankman, Steel and Spawn were all before Blade for black superheroes in the movies. Blade was just the first of the modern era of Marvel superhero movies. There were others in the 70s and 80s for Marvel but no were near the popularity of the late 90s Marvel movies. Spawn is also often overlooked as both a superhero movie and a black lead cast superhero movie.
If you guys like some great action, you should check out the raid redemption if you haven't already. It is amazing. It's an Indonesian martial arts film. It's available subbed or dubbed.
Blade was not under the radar. It was a good movie and had many fans. It’s just comic movies were not hip and cool to watch back then. Now everybody watches comic movies. But it was not under the radar. You need to also watch HELLBOY.
You guys should watch Blade Trinity. Dominic Purcell does an amazing job in that movie. Some of the movie is boring, but Dominic delivers a stellar performance.
Jesus Christ on a bicycle! Jane looks amazing. I can’t even concentrate on the movie should be see Jane go TT… ya know what I’m sayin… I’ll see myself out *hangs head in shame*
Blade Trinity was not "poopy" - watch it and stop listening to what internet/critics say. Also Whistler/Kris Kristofferson was a rock star before your parents were born - look it up!! I love him getting another career later in life. Watch some foreign horror/sci fi like The Host from Korea, Dog Soldiers from the UK or Rec from So.America - you'll love them.
22:42-22:51 You knew a guy named Wesley that you referred to as Pipes?! I might be careful making such confessions because somebody might assume you're referring to the adult film star Wesley Pipes. I don't mean to offend only to educate. lol 😂
I had no faith in the new Blade movie when they decided not to bring Wesley back. The fact that the director left the project and the lead star is unhappy with the script does nothing to alter that opinion.
Mahershala Ali is probably the best choice to play Blade though. Unfortunately there are the problems you mentioned. Disney probably doesn’t like the ideas of vampires in their movies.
How many of you couldn't stop staring at her microphone.
The Blade movies are the reason I’m into swords and knives now
Me too
@@immortalone3943 Me three. They'll never find my ex girlfriend's body.
Who remembers that bouncer from America who was kitted out like Blade?.. dude had swords, nunchucks, karambits, glocks, revolvers.. etc.. 😅
fun facts , the dirtector of this movie directed hellboy and hellboy 2 the golden army . the woman who was asking nomak questions a theblood bank played a doctor in hellboy , the actor who played nomak played the main villian in hellboy 2 the golden army . hellboy was played by ron pearlman who played the bald vampire with the mini bomb in the back of his head .
This movie was my favorite of the trilogy. Such amazing acting, martial arts, story, and characters.
The "Can you blush" line was double-edged. It was a veiled racist remark as well as a remark regarding vampires not having any bloodflow.
Some dude in Europe asked Wesley that in real life.
I got asked that in middle school smmfh gotta love rednecks
How do you know it was meant that way, i suggest race is more important to you than the actor in a film
Yeah same couldn’t take him seriously at all
This is mine, that's mine, waaaaaaoooow!
Red dwarf 💯👍👍
Slaying in that all white outfit 🔥
Fun facts time...Snipes and Donnie Yen had alot of fight choreography (Concepts)that werent used in the film, which happens alot in action martial arts films and Snipes has talked about.
I love both of y'all but it's always hilarious when she says Justin like she's mad at you for her having to see something disgusting. She can't do nothing but take it out on you😂
Nah it just makes her feel safe saying his name.
JV, I think you miss the connection. Not all masculine connections need to have hugs and tears but strength, trust, and honor.
I definitely saw their connection and I would think trying to save someone for over two years displays that.
This would be popular in theaters today, still.
The strain was a show with vampires like nomak. It’s pretty good
Having Wesley snipes made blade more accurate because he knew martial arts
Blade never went unnoticed in my family, anything with action horror or sci fi was being watched by my father
Jane having her favorite wrestler be Razor Ramon… She just earned major cool points!
“Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don't last, but BAD GUYS do.”
"Wesley Pipes" gets a honorable mention on RUclips...😄😆
I was gonna say. Are we just going to ignore the Wesley Pipes reference and how the explanation wasn’t what we thought we were going to hear? 😅😂
Y'all thinking of the porn star
I want Jane to google Westley Pipes LMAO
Wesley Snipes was legit. He did all his stunts and fighting. He began training in martial arts when he was 12 years old. He has a 5th degree black belt in Shotokan karate and a 2nd degree black belt in Hapkido
9:35- That's what I always say. Blade ain't got time for love. He only has time for killing the supernatural.
I died when Jane said "Wesley Pipes" 😂 I thought she went to school with the actual guy at first.
Bruh...yeah...I don't think she knows there's an actual "Wesley Pipes" or what he does 🤣🤣🤣
@@djaynorequest 😉😉😉
@@djaynorequest lmao I was like how she know that Wesley pipes 😂
actually spawn starring michael jai white was the 1st black superhero movie to come out in 1997 .
Blankman 1994
BEST BLADE SEQUEL EVER!!
Blade 2 Is Good Film
the "Can you blush" line was a jab at Blade because he's dark-skinned. I saw JV processing it.
I like all the subtle clues that Scud was compromised, which you catch on a rewatch if you didn’t the first time.
Wow, 22:06 - "I spotted one but I lost him" = perfect British accent. 😀
If you like the topics about vampires, then you just have to see Underworld
Yes love underworld
Yes absolutely, Underworld 2 is my fav
There's Blade 2 and then there's Jane's 2👀🤩😘😍🥰🤤❤👏🙌👍🎉
Blade was the first DECENT black super hero movie, but before that there was 'Steel' starring Shaq, and earlier still 'Meteor Man', and comedy hero movie 'Blankman'
A big shoutout to Ip man, Hellboy, and the Cat from Red Dwarf.
And Van Gogh from an awesome Dr Who episode (also Marcus from underworld and Datak Tarr on Defiance - a series that deserves a second look)
Spawn starring Michael Jai White was released in 1997 a year before Blade . A 1977 Blaxploitation film called "Abar, The First Black Superman" was released. I enjoy Blade Trinity. To me, that’s a Deadpool proof of concept 😄
The mood is different from the first one, but I liked it. I know I saw the 3rd one but I can’t remember what it was about
It’s not very good. I mean, it’s Blade, so it’s still gonna be fun, but the villain is pretty weak & the fight choreography is considerably worse than the 1st or 2nd films. Ryan Reynolds & Jessica Biel are in it, but neither do much.
Dracula
Pacific Rim is probably my favorite del Toro movie. His Nightmare Alley was pretty good too
I still need to see Nightmare Alley! I've heard small rumblings about it online.
This is my favorite BLADE movie
11:54- This is,my favorite Blade fight. He let everybody know he was ready at all times. He stay with the cool moves.
The "can you blush?" thing is offensive on so many levels (nazi saying a black man can't blush/blade still has the thirst but doesn't drink blood)
Scott Hall= Razor Ramon is a personal favorite of mine as well.
Still one of my personal favorites of all time.
Lucas Cross: Blades Bio Dad
Deacon Frost: Vampire Step-Dad
22:43 - Yeah.. That's probably not why your friend named Wesley was called "Pipes". Wesley Pipes was a pretty prominent black adult star in the late 90s-00s. 🤐

Well of course he's more fun in Demolition Man. That's a more fun, borderline comedy, movie. Not "better" (although I think Demolition Man is GREAT) just funnier..
I lost it when he said “Scubs” 😂😂😂
please watch the 3rd people talk down on it but its still worth watching
Hancock is a 2008 American superhero film directed by Peter Berg from a screenplay by Vince Gilligan and Vy Vincent Ngo. The film stars Will Smith, Charlize Theron, and Jason Bateman.
Best movie in the trilogy.
When Reinhardt ask if Blade can blush it's a double meaning. The fact that Blade is half human is one the other is the fact that Blade is black and Reinhardt is known as a Nazi Vampire.
The amount of innuendo in this reaction 😂
You guys might like snipes in demolition man
3:20 Justin letting us see the bed technique lol😜
best part of this move is Whistler roasting all the vampires
Fun fact The Villain is also Darth Maul in Episode 1.
I like how you talk over exposition dialogue and ask questions literally detailed in the aforementioned dialogue
If I’m correct, whistler wasn’t just beat up in the first one. they fed on him a little bit too. Don’t quote me on that 🤷🏾♂️😂
The Blade movies were never under the radar. They were hugely popular and cemented Wesley Snipes as one of the top stars of the 90s. If you look at Skud's shirt, you'll see a B.P.R.D. logo
Two years before HELLBOY was released, which was also made by Guillermo Del Toro
Blade was everywhere in pop culture. You just lived in a cave or something and never noticed it
You should react to Demolition man, Snipes is the bad guy in that movie but still awesome as shit!
Wesley pipes is a weed reference lmfao!!!
And the Blade trilogy was very popular in my group of friends we still quote it to this day.
Wesley did his own stunts.
Good reaction my Canadian friends lol. This was one of the few sequels that is better than the first film, in my opinion.
If you're looking for more Guillermo del Toro films, consider his 2017 romantic fantasy film, Shape of Water.
That movie was SUCH a great modernization of the Creature From the Black Lagoon. I loved every minute of it. ❤️
"😲😲 VOLDERMORT!!!!" LMAOOOO
36:12- Right!!! She got me too. I already got the movie memorized and I was still wondering how Whistler betrayed everybody.
Blade cares very much for Whistler, but he doesn't wear his feelings on his sleeve.
My one takeaway from this reaction is "the eyes, the groin of the face"
the vampire with blonde top hair is Vince from The Fast and Furious and the vampire with the sword is Donnie Yen. he also has some great Martial Arts movies
@See Jane Go TV luke goss is the twin of matt goss from a 80s boy band in the uk called "bros" he also plays a character in the second hellboy movie.
Luke Goss was one of the members of a British boy band called BROS back in the 80s
59:13- Oh my gosh. Ultimate Warrior is my favorite too. Coolest moment in Wrestlung history, for me is him and Hulk Hogan reaching in the sky for the Greco-Roman knuckle lock.

If you guys like some great action, you should check out the raid redemption if you haven't already. It is amazing. It's an Indonesian martial arts film. It's available subbed or dubbed.
I feel like Blade and Whistler show true love for each other. These type of men don't require sentimental moments.

Whoever is making your new titles needs to take a chill pill lol *WAS EXTREME OMG!!!* LOL
You should watch Del Toro’s series about vampires, called “ The Strain”, it uses vamps like the reapers,
He’s more Nosferatu than Voldemort
These are great but could we move her microphone like an inch to my right? Or maybe we could all pitch in and get her a headset?
i really recommend you react to
/ Blade: Trinity (2004)*
Or the one shot we heard Whistler fire wasn't at himself but at a vampire
Jesus Christ on a bicycle! Jane looks amazing. I can’t even concentrate on the movie should be see Jane go TT… ya know what I’m sayin… I’ll see myself out *hangs head in shame*
lol me2 mate I understand, I can't look at anything else she's just too good there 😅...
The problem with watching these movies as a literal marathon is that i forget to press like sometimes
I know i dont have to explain the can you blush line? Think
Blade Trinity was not "poopy" - watch it and stop listening to what internet/critics say. Also Whistler/Kris Kristofferson was a rock star before your parents were born - look it up!! Didn’t they just say he shot himself and the vampires kept him alive? 🤦🏾♂️
i recommend you react to
_Blade: Trinity (2004)_
I saw that this is among the best comic book movies
I would love to see y’all reaction to passenger 57 with Wesley Snipes that would be so dope
Need more bloody movies. It's funny af lol. "Ooh. Justin!" So funny
A mix of a horror- action- superhero movie. Love Blade 2 !!!!!!!!!
I had no faith in the new Blade movie when they decided not to bring Wesley back. The fact that the director left the project and the lead star is unhappy with the script does nothing to alter that opinion.

Well this one was def worth watching. 👀
I want you guys to watch 28 Days Later then 28 Weeks Later right after.
Two big juicy reasons that I clicked on this video 💕
Im pretty sure her friend got the nickname Wesley Pipes for a different reason than being skinny.
Sorry but I was distracted by Jane's shirt the whole time 😳😍
