No, she shouldn't, that's true. However, she appears to have a soft and kind heart, and actually wanted to help her step brother. I believe with the amount of kindness, caring and compassion she has, even for her brother that wronged her and other family members, she will be a fantastic doctor. It shows greatly that she cares enough to help him, despite all he's done, that she's a truly kind person. ❤️

Ok, people aren’t gonna like this but… I kinda blame the dad as well.
The son felt neglected and made friends with kids who did drugs and gambled in HIGH SCHOOL and the dad had no idea? And then when he has what appears to be a complete downward spiral out of what seems like nowhere, he stops speaking to him completely?? Not even a question of if this was a manic episode or anything???
I’m not even a parent, but even I would see this guy and say “he needs help. Yes, put him in jail, but he’s also still my kid and I failed him somewhere.” You can protect yourself while still being a parent. He didn’t even care that his son wanted to study while being incarcerated.
Oh well he's that type of parent who doesn't want to take responsability on all the Issue and It make more sense in this specific case cuz his dad is a doctor and they don't have to much free tome for themselves nor their familes.

You're telling me not once during your time becoming a doctor. Did you ever get yourself checked out for any medical issues? I know it was a fake record, but that's something you would think a doctor would know about themselves.

Not all doctors get a full physical (including blood work, CAT scans, etc, that would show any and all possible health issues) before becoming a doctor. As I know, it isn't a requirement to do so, and, if one feels in good health, like most people, they wouldn't feel the need to get one. If OP had the heart condition, she would know. Trust me, as a heart condition that would make air travel detrimental, she would know she had it. In some form or another, she would know. So, without feeling any negative effects of health issues, no, she most likely would not have gotten a full physical. It's expensive to do so, and a fresh medical student, not a seasoned doctor, would be more concerned about their money with school or the pressure of medical issues that come with being a ✨️new✨️ student/doctor, it's absolutely possible to not have a full physical before/while being a NEW doctor. A lot happens at a very, VERY fast pace when you're new to the actual reality of how being a doctor or a nurse, and it can be overwhelming for awhile, so there's a lot more to think of.
If OP felt she was in poor health in any way, then she would do exactly what she wrote about what she did. She gathered the genetic information first, which was a very smart move, as that would help pinpoint for where doctors should be looking for the issue at hand. As it turned out, it was fake, so she took no action, as it was not needed. Also, I'm sure she's been to the doctor several times in her life, and if she'd had the mentioned condition, it would have come up at some point.
Don't be daft, and have some compassion. It's not hard to understand that despite going into the medical field, she's a human too. How often have you, a human life everyone else, gotten a full physical? Not to mention that having a load of medical knowledge and living with a doctor, if something was wrong, it would be obvious to at least one of them.

I hate that op, never apologized either. Because she also stated that she resented her sister and also felt like she was in competition with her sister as well. So she's just as wrong as her sister granted. Her sister shouldn't have hit her, but she shouldn't have said whatever she said to her sister.
