Danger swept under the Rug ? Information surfaced that a Mass Evacuation was planned in late 2023 !

  • I find this concerning ! They announced a mass evacuation last year should the earthquakes continue - it only got worse since then and nothing is happening, they only talk about earthquakes and not about what these quakes could announce, a volcanic eruption !
Scientists agreed in late 2023 before we even had that increased amount of unrest that MAGMA is involved !
If you would like to support my Channel (me and my Farm) it is greatly appreciated, coffee helps 😁🍵 www.buymeacoff... THANK YOU SO MUCH !

Looking at the big picture, you have to weigh the chaos caused by an unnecessary panic and what could actually happen during such an event. I believe Italian politicians are just as crooked as the next, but people have the chance to start moving their families now. If they don't (like some in my family), they should not be forced. We have to respect people's wishes. Not everyone values the same things. I value my freedom of choice over any mandate, and I'll fight to the death for that freedom. I'm not alone, so consider that before forcing things on people. Most people in the Naples area are well aware of what is happening, so don't think for a second that they "just don't know". This event will not be restricted to the area, to the country, or the continent. It could, very well, be global. "Where will any of us go?" is a really good question to ask.

@@comment8767 The first day of Vesuvius' eruption, it blasted ash, pumice and rocks into the high atmosphere. Pliny described it as having a trunk like a tree, that branched outward very high up. From the canopy of that "tree", fell rocks, ash and pumice -- that's what buried Pompeii, crushing roofs but leaving many walls and home interiors largely intact. That's why it was just an archeological treasure.
The next morning, the volcano blew a pyroclastic flow of hot gas, ash, and superheated rocks, over everything, basically sealing it for fifteen centuries. Had the pyroclastic flow come first, no bodies would have remained to be sealed in ash, and walls would have been knocked over by the force of the blast.

Hi Silki! If there is magma channeling under the Bay of Pozzuoli, would there be a measurable rise in the water temperature of that bay? (A significant enough increase in temperature that could only be explained by a geologic event?)

    • @hanazon_prime9555
      @hanazon_prime9555 3 месяца назад +5

I would imagine that a change of temperature would indicate that it is too late to do anything as it will be very close to the surface. At that point, there would be no point in trying to outrun it. Unfortunately it sounds like the Italian government are purposefully failing to tell the residents and tourists.... Save money? Who knows. But when it does go, it will tank the economy in Italy, shut the airways and bye bye tourist season's. So saving money by not evacuating people properly or spreading the word, it's like an Italian death warrant, for the residents and Italian economy anyway.

Think of it like this; they evacuate all of those people and now so many people are homeless and waiting for a volcano that may or may now blow and they just wait and wait but nothing ever happens. could you imagine the problem that will come from a false evacuation. It's better to deal with saving as many as possible at the last minute and dealing with how ever many that will die. All they have to say is and being quite honest is that volcano eruptions are more of a guess than an exact science. That sucks but is the reality of it

You know earthquakes happen all the time. That last quake was at a😧depth of 5km so was not significant. Earthquake swarms rising to 2 km are but last time they evacuated it stopped and fooled them. Lots of people evacuated for nothing. So this time no matter what happens I think they are going to wait and see if there is any lava coming out of the ground then they will start to evacuate. So who knows what really will happen everyone can choose where they want to live in a boat, in a house on top of a volcano, on a mountain Cliff side. People are free to do what they want. If they want to evacuate no one is stopping them. It is their choice. So far in Grindavik all those people could have nicely slept in their homes they are still there.

      There are only 2 possibilities:
      a) you leave, and saved your life in case of an erruption (if it doesn‘t blow, you start over a new life somewhere else)
      b) you stay, and risk your life in case of an erruption, or face a half empty city with broken infrastructure, because many friends and neighbours left the town 🤔🥺
If I would live there, I would choose plan a) and start over a new life… I already did that myself, but under not life threatning conditions… lots of love from Austria 💝

I get the feeling that there's an underlying knowledge that if it DOES blow, we're screwed, in a way for which there's no way to prepare.
So, rather than terrify people by saying "Hey, honestly, you're on your own, we can't actually save ourselves, much less the whole country, or, God forbid, the WORLD ".
If it were me, I wouldn't be waiting for the government to decide what to do.
Save yourselves, please, however you feel that you must.
We can't do much about the potential food shortages except stock up as best we can, and honestly, it's almost too late even for that, unless you have a very large place, like a warehouse, to store what you need to survive indefinitely.
But in terms of the immediate danger, GO. Just go. Get out of there. As far as you can, as fast as you can.

    1. In Italy's case - narrow streets to get to a highway
    2. On the highway. gas stations get all "attacked" and there's no more gas in a half hour.
In my opinion, they're communicating to the population by not communicating - fend for yourself.
That way, there is a greater chance of gas stations still having anything to make you poor in your tank.

You are right, but it is also complicated. There are clear indications that an eruption may be coming, from small to REALLY big. They cannot predict if the eruption might happen next week or in 20 years from now. Campi Flegrei, as you say, is really explosive, which allows it to erupt from deep lava reservoirs with much less warning time, not days maybe not hours - it could happen while people are sleeping. Even a smaller will produce a pyroclastic explosion that can harm all 3 million.
They should not have built there. If they evacuate 3 mil people now, and nothing happens next weeks, the people will want to return. They cannot keep these people "evacuated" for long periods. They also know that there is a significant chance that many of those cannot be rescued when it happens.
It is a risk they accept, because they cannot see how they could permanently relocate 3 million people reasonably. These people need to be relocated.
They also downplay the risk, because they do not have an answer if those 3 million go into panic.

I recall seeing a documentary from some years ago where the people around the Vesuv were aware of the danger, but kind of accepting it "lovingly" as their fate, should it erupt. Where would you go with millions of people? Plus: IF it erupts, it will not only affect a few kilometres around there, but thousands of kilometres. Therefore it is much more important to straighten out your life before God and with people around you than to find a "safe" place. We all HAVE to die sometime, it should make us wise and re-consider our priority! There will be eternal life and it is decided HERE on earth, where it is being spent! Jesus made the way there ...! Read the Gospel of John as a good starting point

It's tough. Where would they locate, and what would be the cost? Obviously, given the choice between 1) leaving and losing every single thing you've known and 2) staying and losing one's life and also everyone else who lives there, it should be a no-brainer. It's so complicated, I know. However, rather than waiting for the all but inevitable eruption to occur, I'd be planning my permanent /family evacuation of the region long before the eruption begins. If anyone is there and is reading this, please consider taking yourself and your family elsewhere - permanently. Politicians will never be the savior. Waiting for the last days or moments is a death sentence. You likely will not regret leaving other than sentimentality, however in the brief moments you have to plan to leave during an ongoing eruption, you will deeply regret not leaving for the few moments you are lucky enough to remain alive. It could happen now or in a week or month or decades or centuries, but making the decision sooner rather than later is the only way to increase your chance of surviving something like this.
