Surprised you didn’t mention the luminary’s splitter skills in 11 as reference to dai when talking about spells/skills from dai making it in mainline dq.
I've never been the biggest Dragon Quest fan, but this video discussion makes me keen for Infinity Strash in particular! The game looks kickass, great stuff dude!

You're also more of an ARPG fan than I am, so odds are you might actually enjoy this one more than me haha! The anime has been REALLY good, I'm at about episode 50 now
@@dukey03 im having a hard time deciding on something. so you can import this from playasia or through video games plus. i know if i do that you wont be able to use any dlc since its region locked. thats ok though. what im curious on did you play on the switch or ps5 and which is better. id love to have this portable but i heard the switch will barely be handling 30fps. i know dragon quest 11 s on the switch was amazing though.
@@edanderson8905 Hey dude! I have not played this game yet. I think it would be up to personal preference when it comes to performance vs portability. I always vouch for the Switch and it's portability, yet almost never actually USE my Switch in handheld mode haha! I preordered it on PS4 mainly because usually PS4/5 is going to run the game the best, and I can sometimes be a bit of a trophy whore. I hope this helped you with your decision a bit haha!

Been playing Dragon Quest since gameboy color Cobi’s Adventure. I’m stoked for this to come out.
Watched the whole anime earlier this year and loved it. Being a fan of the games already made it really enjoyable. This game looks alright tho. I don't expect it to be amazing but I'll most likely buy it to, again, support the DQ series in the west.

I wouldn’t mind a DLC up to episode 50 then the sequel could just give us the second half of Adventure of Dai’s Story.
Does anyone know if the PS4 Japanese version has English DUB? There is no physical release here in the UK and I have an opportunity to buy the Japanese release.
I don’t believe the Japanese version would, but the Asian release definitely does

I was a little deflated not able to use Crocodine.
I bought this game and I'm loving it so far. I can definitely say this game is for fans totally. It has a LOT of story side covering the anime plot, while the dynamic combat is fun for me. I don't think this game is for everyone tho (specially those that expect something like a AAA game), but if you really are a fan of Dai no Daibouken, you must buy it :D it's a love letter for the fans

Will it be a game just about quests to kill monsters or will it have exploration/adventure? I have a bad impression that it will just be killing monsters and quests done.
Yeah it does appear to be more about eliminating all the monsters in each area as well as big boss fights

I have seen the overview trailer like the ideal of Bond Memories, Tower of Recollection which borrows the elements of roguelite games and Challenge mode which is like Final fantasy mode on steroids/drugs. That series deserves love for PS5 owners. 🙂

$60 plus tax is just way too much for a digital game that is unproven. Would of loved to have seen a usa physical copy, i know i can import an Asian release but i should not have to spend $70 to do so. Will wait for a slight sale because every-time i buy a full priced digital game i regret it and cannot bring myself to do it again my only exception was Baldur’s Gate 3 recently.
Yeah, it’s bullshit that they charge the same price for digital despite CLEARLY saving on their own costs. All devs have gone that way unfortunately since about halfway through the PS3 era.
Would definitely prefer a physical copy myself, but don’t want to pay out the ass for shipping from PlayAsia or something haha

Sigh. This didn’t age well. One of the worst games of the year especially considering the IP. God I hope we don’t lose future titles bc of this sTrash.
I’ll be doing a review on it soon. I wouldn’t say it’s one of the WORST games of the year, but it was definitely disappointing.
