HM did NOT have his corpus callosum cut ! It was the removal of his hippocampus that caused his memory loss. Otherwise, he would only have been one of the many split-brain patients. Apart from that, love your videos
Well my guess is, that LTM uses patterns in any kind, not just the semantic of words. It just happens to be more frquently used because speak and think that often. LTM is about patterns and uses a ridiculously tiny amount of crystaline knowledge and incomming stimuli-patterns to re-create this stuff again. I mean we could have less than 80MB of storage without knowing it, while all the other processes constantly try to find better algorithms for the two-way memory function to decide which stuff needs to be crystaline knowledge and how to read it with the possibilities of the most common stimuli-patterns and how to build this algorithm, so that it needs minimal storage and minimal adjustments over time as well. Sas, a 1MB algorithm, which needs to change 200 bits a year at most.
thankyou so much just switched to phycology gcse and your videos help me catch up and understand all of the topics. your the best.
Please can you do a video on biopsychology?

Many thanks. Happy to admit when I'm wrong. Being completely honest I have never read the original article.
I guess I have a short term memory of less than 3 seconds 🤷🏻♀️
Great content
Can you do videos on social influence please?
Thank you so so much!
Thanks that was very helpful
hi is there any way of having a copy of your slides?
thanks!

Is there a way to print your slides?
Mel Hopewell I can send you a copy. What’s your email?
Ok, i take "shots" when i see things - and then i recall that "shot" and read off it. And that is how i remember things. What do you call that?
That probably wouldn't be accounted for by the MSM and can be used as an evaluation. This is just one theory memory.
My adhd is curious about that. It want that as a pet. I'm still trying to figure out christmas for us..
The 10 digit number looked like pi.. i got fooled and failed xD i mean i failed double, while recalling 8 digits of pi instead..
