From Catering to a Café Job in Spain: Still Figuring It Out

- Hey everyone! I just finished training for my second job. I’ve been working catering at a university, but the hours are a bit crazy, so I applied to a bunch of places. A café called Brunchit in the city center got back to me-it’s a trendy spot with mostly English-speaking tourists.
Today was my first day, and it was super busy. I was put on the espresso machine right away, which made me a bit nervous at first, but I got the hang of it. The shift was fast-paced, and I didn’t really have time to connect with the staff or customers, and that aspect of the job I don't really like.
The catering gig ends this weekend, so I’ll stay at Brunchit for the next month, maybe longer, while I figure out my next steps. I want a job where I can interact more with people, but for now, it’s good experience, and I can practice my Spanish. Let's see how it goes!
