I lived in Berlin a few years ago and left there in a troubled way. I have so much love for that city, but it's taken me time and healing to let that love and the Berlin light back into my heart. Recently, I've been considering going back there for a short trip again - the first time since I departed with my spirit in tatters. Yesterday, I came across this mix - with all its sparkling waves of soothing encouragement. I'm ready to go back to THIS Berlin.
What a great concept- a nice drive to parts of the city I would never see, in a classic BMW, with 2 people who have great chemistry, and an awesome set on the stereo. Feels like I was in the back seat- thanks for the ride-along!
I love all the stick shift comments, funny how that's such a different thing, culturally, across the world. In Europe it's pretty unusual to drive an auto, we all learn 'stick'.
