Your posts, along with others, inspire me. I lived and worked in El Salvador for three years, but then I came back to the US to finish up my career and spend time close to relatives. It's hard because while I speak the language here and I am a novice to ES (language wise), the States do not resonate with my heart like ES does. I will be moving back to ES in just over one year from now. My Spanish is not good, but everywhere I have been in ES they work with me. We both laugh at my utter destruction of the language. I know I will be in a world where I will be on the fringe - but the fringe in ES is so much better for me than the mainstream of where I am at. Thank yo for your content.
Ok, I must admit that you somehow did in fact inspired me to live my life out of the United States. I recently moved to Costa Rica and began to see what you always kept saying about enjoying life. Because of you, I also have visited El Salvador twice now and am planning a huge getaway in El Salvador by the end of this year. Great Content and I'm happy that you’re back. We all love your videos.
Wow what a compliment! I can’t believe I helped inspire you to move, but I’m glad you did since it sounds like you’re happy there! I hope you have a great getaway 🤙🏼🇸🇻 I visited Costa Rica a few years ago and it’s soooo pretty.
You are a beautiful woman i see you videos iam from il salvador but the Town is from Chalatenango but I am being you always and iam very happy if you do More videos hunny iam here i Salt Lake City UTAH USA i am here, my English is not very good but iam here
I'm Salvadorean I live in the U.S for 42 years .. wanted to say you're one lucky person.. you do make me homesick .. I love your videos and thank you for sharing.. good luck much blessings 🙌
Good msg at the end !! And yes, I met people who have that kind of mentality ! I always pray for them . Gracias por el vídeo ! Muy bueno como todos tus vídeos ! Bendiciones a todos !
I don't know how hard it is for you to adapt to that new culture, but with time you will assimilate it. Hey paisanos 🖐 do not forget that the adaptation is partial and that also when we come from another country the most beautiful thing that people make you feel at home is that they do not forget that foreigners also have their own customs and you have to experience them also. 👍👍 saludos
Saludos! Yes that’s true! It takes time to adapt. Luckily, people here seem to keep in mind that foreigners are from different cultures. Thanks for sharing!
Danielle...please... Search for Jehovah. Seek Him with all sincerity, and He will find you. You may be happy with whatever religion you have, if you have one, but I beg please, please pray to Jehovah God, ask Him to help you find Him and that you want the real truth about all things, and God will find you. Look at the news, world wide, many things are going down hill and will keep getting worse. We are so close to The Great Tribulation. But then, the door to God will close. I say all this out of love, for you and yours. Be honest, Really, Danielle, be honest and pour your heart out to Jehovah. It may feel or seem too tough for this change, for we are talking about God, His only begotten son Jesus Christ, Gods holy spirit, Gods angels: "there are more with us than against us" Gods Word assured His True people. God will help you with whatever struggle comes upon you if you do Jehovah's will. Peace.
I have not heard the term "famine mentality" but duuuude you are so on point. I used to slightly think like that and finally realized that it was a source of unrecognized jealousy and regret. Now my husband and I have goals and dreams to work towards and "famine" is the furthest that we feel. I am so happy for you that you are figuring this stuff out at your age- I did not have that figured out yet (I'm not that much older -in my head) but maybe I was not ready for that idea/message-which is also an important piece. You are so awesome!
I’m so glad you and your husband are doing well and feel content! I’m sure you may have learned lessons that I still need to learn. I guess it all depends on individual experiences. But I’m glad you’re happy and working towards your goals! ☺️
I used to watch your videos all the time! I got pregnant and many things changed including reducing time on social media and youtube. I see that you are married now! More exciting that we now have the same last name!! Lol. I’m happy for you and this video is motivating me to go to El Salvador again. The majority of my family lives in El Salvador, such a beautiful place!! Stay safe!!
I second that, thr last comment about your spanish getting way better. Great to see you making more videos and end your final reflection, yessss Pura Vida. We should all switch to a mentality of appreciation for what we do have and for the experiences. Every sunset, every animal, every nature walk brings a peace and though that we don't need more.
You're right! Some people try to cut someone else down, they do their best to undermine you, and once they obtained it, they say " ok, now we are talking", i.e. "now we are at the same low level".
your Spanish it is perfect enjoy el salvador, i tell you i am chalatenango my husband from texas does not know much spanish, i need to travel to el salvador to practice more spanish.
Thanks so much Gabriela! I’ve been wanting to do a video like that! It’s just that my 9-5 job is pretty boring lol 🤣 maybe I can do one on a weekend day. Thanks for the idea!
