I'd rather pick this BT-50 top of the line over the D-Max. Its much more cheaper plus its hard to say no to the 5 year free service plan offered by Mazda.
Picking up my 2022 Mazda BT 50 4X4 tomorrow. Very impressed with the features and craftsmanship (leather interior, rear locking differential,etc.). It is only missing a 360 camera like the Nissan Navara.
@@AlphaVirgo8 The air conditioner is okay. Perfect for here in the Philippines. Gas for the BT 50 can be a but high between 4,000 - 5,000 a tankful depending on the economy. Not sure about the mileage.
Looking very cool here lkey ngl HAHA! Very detailed review of the BT-50 tho, all the notable advantages and the highlights vs. the D-Max were very well explained on this vid, just like how the similarities were pointed out.
Kaya no brainer para sa akin na piliin ung Mazda, nka4x4 kna, free pms for 5 years pa. Tapus, pina test drive pa ako ng matagal ng Mazda Alabang. Galing.. samantalang ung Toyota Bacoor, walang test unit at walang balak magkaruon.
Sakay ko mga kids sa likod and they actually like it better than my XV dahil mas kita daw nila daan and mas chill daw hehe
Just to add on the engine side of things, i have the lse and we tested it with the wildtruck (bi turbo) power wise ranger have more bite acceleration wise but top end dmax wins. Both stock
Finally a content from this awesome truck, appreciate your feedback throughout the video, hoping that you could do a comparo between the bt50 and the ford ranger 🤔👍
I agree on the dealer network problem. Sadly, we don't have a Mazda dealership in my province so you would see more Dmax' around. It's atleast 1 roro ride to the nearest Mazda dealership if we were to avail the 5 year free maintenance :(
Hi, I would like to seek some advice from the experts here. I have the 1.9L BT-50 2022. However, my kids have been complaining that they feel like vomiting every-time we go on long rides on highways. Is there a quick an easy fix improve the ride? I saw some youtube mentioning to downsize from the stock 17" to 16" wheels for thicker tires. Will this help? or should I look into upgrading the suspensions? I don't do much heavy lifting, it's more of a lifestyle utility vehicle for my family to go occasional camping. Hope to hear some advice here. Thank you in advance.
What can you say about the long term reliability and ownership of the BT-50 over the Ranger Wildtrak? I heard that Ford vehicles are not that reliable over the long term. Sana mapansin. Thanks!
Off topic I noticed you lost a lot of weight. I gues you are doing good at the gym 👍. Going back to the truck I wanted to know, is it true that tye aircon is kinda weaker than a usual mazda?.
Glad you noticed huehue 💪 Regarding the AC, I guess it cools the cabin in a different manner compared to usual Mazdas, but I don’t find it to be weaker? I didn’t find any major difference with the BT-50 and other Mazdas. - Isaac
this, this has adaptive cruise control and comfort + izusu dmax reliability I wanna own my vehicle up to 20 years, I don't want to be a salesman of my own vehicle expecting to sell it for its resale value the moment I get it out of the dealership
We haven’t drive the new Ranger, but we’re scheduled to borrow it soon! For now, on paper, we’re already leaning towards the Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 since it’s the most modern and most tech-laden of all the pickups out there. - Isaac
Ranger definitely if you want new tech and is the most modern. The only advantage of having the BT50 is its 3.0 engine which is the most powerful in the pickup segments given that its tuned. Isuzu detunes its 3.0 as to not stress it so much compared to Ford's 2.0 engines.
Navara VL 4x2! The VL 4x2 is nearly equivalent to the top trim Pro-4X already in terms of spec but at a much lower price, making it very good value for money.
If you were to ask me I would definitely choose a Mazda because of its premium quality, feeling of exclusivity since you rarely see a BT-50 on the road as compared to a Navara and Dmax, and most of all, the hassle-free and worry-free ownership provided by the 5-year free maintenance which would make it more cost-effective. Only Mazda has that 5-year free maintenance over the other car brands which most of the car buyers might not be aware of.
If you actually listened to the intro like probably everyone else in the comments section did, Isaac said that he could have CONCLUDED his review already by simply saying that it’s just a D-Max in a more elegant suit… 👀
Dude kahit high end ganun din naman. Yung R8 at Huracan parehong sasakyan. Yung RR Ghost at BMW 7 series pareho din. Hater ka lang Aerox lang meron ka.
I'd rather pick this BT-50 top of the line over the D-Max. Its much more cheaper plus its hard to say no to the 5 year free service plan offered by Mazda.
It has the best of the two companies. Plus may remote start na. :)
I did. No diff lock on the top of the line Isuzu that I was initially going to purchase.

Nope. Navarra always beats dmax and bt50 top end wise
unloaded? try with 1 ton cargo. Isuzu engine will beat every engine out there.
Isuzu engine all the way when it comes to diesel japan.

Upgrade the suspension.
Upgrade suspension. Sabi ng mga natatagtagan sa hilux nagkakarga sila ng sacks ng buhangin para loaded un likod at hindi matagtag.
definitely upgrade suspensions. Coil springs will do the job.
