Wanna know something neat about how Duel of the Fates plays when Anakin is on the search for his mother in Attack of the Clones? 🤔 It's because Anakin is having a mental duel with his inner darkness that is to be unleashed (meaning that Anakin was dueling against Vader). And in a way makes sense considering the fact that the Duel of the Fates is heard almost EVERYwhere in the Prequel Trilogy. Like in Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon VS. Darth Maul and during the space battle against the Trade Federation spaceship near Naboo in Episode I. The song then plays again when Anakin looks for his mother in Tatooine in Episode II. The song plays yet again after Battle of the Heroes just when Yoda and Sidious are battling it out in the supreme courtroom in Episode III. Which is actually pretty cool since Duel of the Fates is one of the most powerful tracks that can describe Anakin Skywalker's fate and that the darkness will strike true for the Jedi Order to see. But in any case, that's basically what I wanted to share with you in case you were curious. 😄💙
I think another slightly melancholy/hopeful/mournful version of the Force theme ALSO plays in the Last Jedi when Luke surrenders to the Force after giving the Resistance a chance to escape. 🤔 Nice comparison of the Force theme. And yes, I also do give thanks to John Williams himself since he's the GOAT. MTFBWY! 🔵
Okay, coming back to this video, I've found another one that might sound nice. 🙂 There's another version of the Force theme like this that plays in the Empire Strikes Back where Luke makes a promise to Yoda before departing to Bespin to possibly save Han and Leia. 💙
Upon revision, this theme does play in Attack of the Clones, before Anakin travels to the Tusken Village, where it devolves into Duel of the Fates.
