straight out of the 1920s. Feels like war. If you know the book, A Separate Peace, it just feels like it. Feels like it's straight out of Peaky Blinders. That's a Real Mercedes, and we've been lacking a lot of that lately, from the turn Mercedes has taken. Legends, keep it up, we're all in with you!
I subscribed within the first minute and a half, and this was the first Oldskooler video I've watched. It is a record-holder. Amazing work guys, keep up! I would love to hear more OM606 fruity turbo noises. Paying you a visit is definitely on my 🪣 list when I visit the UK ❤🇰🇪
Awesome work - been following and waiting for this. Cooling wise what did you use? W463 radiator, what intercooler setup? Does it have A/C so did you need to retain that? These typically have cooling issues with limited air flow if you have the intercooler, air condenser and radiator so keen to understand the setup. What a beast :)
Thanks man! We heard they usually have cooling issues so made sure this one didn't. We don't have A/C so that helps but we used a universal radiator from Japspeed which filled every inch we had and was a massive 75mm deep. We made custom mounts for it via the originals. The intercooler was also universal fitment, from Toyo Sports and only as big as it needed to be for about 350hp so not covering a large amount of the rad. The engine sits at about 85 Celsius all day long.
awesome build my man
Thanks dude!
Amazing Restoration!!! Class.....
*absolutley stellar*
*only thing I'd change* is *I'd swap out the standing hood ornament for a flat one*

Love the build ! I have a LWB W460 and want similar work done. Is that something that you can offer ?
Thanks 👍 Normally I would do but I'm not currently taking on any more work. Where in the world are you?
@@oldscooler Ah ok, I’m in the Midlands, near Birmingham. We could maybe talk about getting the work done at some point in the future ?
By the way, mine won’t need any rust work doing, only an OM606 and a slight facelift.
@@taranjitbirdi shame, I'd happily take it on but I'm looking to emigrate to Australia later this year. Sorry.
Amazing build. Where did you get the steering wheel?
@@michaelaporta thanks dude. It came from a shop called mr.vroom on eBay.
Hi, what gearbox did you go for, mate
It's got the 6 speed out of a 2005 C200 CDI. It came as a package with the engine and apparently stronger then the 5 speed equivalent.
How can i get that instrument panel?
Wow
Wannnnnnt!
Thanks dude 😎
Where’s the Mighty OM606 details ? Should’ve put Editing for content views at its best. 😡
