Anything that grows your faith and study of God’s Word is Never a waste no matter what form it takes. My Faith Journal is a 3 ring 5x8 binder where I keep bible studies, notes from sermons and women’s conferences and prayer lists. I do decorate it to some degree. My prayer journal is a separate Archer & Olive notebook and is where I write out my morning prayers and spend time talking with God…even before coffee. No decorating in it. Blessings Elisa
I love faith planning in both my paper and digital planners. Digging deeper in the Word is never a waste of time nor is any type of planner. It helps me relax and clears my mind!
While I don't currently use a faith planner, I can see that there's value in it; and I ❤️ studying through Illustrated Faith devotionals creatively. Your spread is perfect for summer! ☀️

Anything that keeps you engaged in studying is not a waste of time! We are all different and different hobbies and different formats work for different people. So blah if someone else doesn’t see its purpose… we may not find purpose in their methods, hobbies and ways.
I have a space in my catch-all planner to remind me of my faith time such as prayer and bible study. However, I have a separate notebook for my bible notes.
I don’t think any kind of planning is a waste of time. If it’s something you enjoy, then do you! ❤

I have memory problems and using a faith planner really helps. I get so much more out of my devotions and daily verse study.
Writing it down also helps me so much!
I love faith planning, too! I need to get back to it. I learned a lot when studying this way. I am a visual learner.
