I think this is the best Cinderella story I've ever seen.it was fantastic. I saw it when I was nine years old. They should put it on primetime tv for children and adults to see today. I haven't seen it since the1960,s.
A true classic! The best cast. Leslie Ann Warren and Stuart Damon were my Prince and Princess back then. I was 10 yrs old when I first saw this in 1965 and like any little girl I was smitten. Loved the music and dancing and Ginger Rogers was the most beautiful Queen! This is by far the best Cinderella.
This movie is a tradition in my family. My Mom first saw this with her mother (Mom was 9 when this came out), then she watched it with me and my younger sister, now I watch this with my two daughters
Of all the Cinderellas this one's the best, I've watched this movie for fifty-seven years and still well-up when she lifts the bottom of that beautiful ballgown fleeing the ballroom at midnight😥 As a matter of fact I'm watching now😉
I remember watching this as a kid and being amazed at how the queen seemed to float when she danced. Then I got older and realized who exactly the queen was. :D
Ginger Roger's made several movies with Fred Astaire perhaps the greatest dancer. She was his most liked dance partner. The movies are light-hearted love stories with plenty of dancing. Top Hat is my favorite. They were made long before I was born but love all their movies. Walter Pigeon I believe was a little over 10 years older. Great actor
I always Love this movie. I was only 11 when l first saw it. I Love Cinderella. My favorite movie of all time. And l have it on DVD. And l still would watch it even if I'm 66.
I too was very young when this masterpiece was made. Remember all of my siblings gathering in front of that great TV to watch this lovely show. Beautifully written ballads. This particular one is my favorite, calling forth your deep sentiments & love
LOL Jim Augie! I'm right with ya buddy!! I fell MADLY in love with Lesley Ann Warren as well in 1965, when I was 5 years old, and saw this on our neighbor's brand new color television set. I thought she was the greatest vision in the world!
ginger rogers and walter pidgeon brought so much class to this movie..they were great together..this one is my favorite cinderella..even though whitney rocked the godmother role..i still love 1965 the best
I'm so glad that I'm able to watch cinderella When I was young it was on every year And then it just stop airing it I'm so glad I got to watch it in utube I have watch cinderella on utube alot Then should start airing it again Like the wizard of oz I would sure be glad
Nothing warms the heart like the sight of medieval people dancing the waltz, which wasn't invented until the 19th century - under 18th century baroque chandeliers. :)
No, for being the superstars that they were at the time they get top billing. Just remember the first Superman movie. Christopher Reeve got third billing behind Marlon Brando and Gene Hackman.
Everytime I see this, I want more Ginger Rogers. Too bad that dance bit was so short
I just wish that their dance could have gone on for longer. ❤️
That thing Miss Rogers do with her dress is absolutely marvelous

Walter Pidgeon and Ginger. Two consummate pros

I always wanted the king and queen to dance longer…but if they had, nobody else would’ve been able to dance with them. No comparison 😊
This brought back the magic of seeing it for the first time in my childhood. Thank you !!
I remember watching this as a kid and being amazed at how the queen seemed to float when she danced. Then I got older and realized who exactly the queen was. :D
Yes, the great Ginger Rogers!
Yes. Floating on air!
I grew up with a VHS of this movie. I remember my father always pointing out in this scene that Ginger Rogers does not dance, she floats

Yes! My mom absolutely loves this movie, and indeed the incomparable Ginger Rogers does indeed float!
She does. I have all the Astaire & Roger movies. Just wish they were in color.
Oh, a king and queen in love. How nice to see such gentle love in an older couple! Just another thing I really love about this production :D
Me too i still like it today its nice and sweet
Ginger Rogers was always so beautiful and talented. everything Fred Astaire could do, she could do backwards and in heels! :)
Natalie Gray My favorite movies with her are Top Hat and Shall We Dance
I always Love this movie. I was only 11 when l first saw it. I Love Cinderella. My favorite movie of all time. And l have it on DVD. And l still would watch it even if I'm 66.

They played together in WEEKEND AT THE WALDORF..GREAT MOVIE..GREAT TOGETHER
God I loved Ginger Rogers
Ralph Rivera The first time I saw her as dancing with none other than Fred Astaire in Swing Time
I too was very young when this masterpiece was made. Remember all of my siblings gathering in front of that great TV to watch this lovely show. Beautifully written ballads. This particular one is my favorite, calling forth your deep sentiments & love

Antoinette Edmundson I prefer the OG 1957 version
My FAVORITE CINDERELLA
ThePinkyPrincessPoet C.A. My favorite Cinderella’s are Disney’s animated and 2015 live action remakes and the OG R+H with Julie Andrews
I was just a little kid in 1965. I've been in love with Leslie Ann Warren for over 50 years and she doesn't even know it.
And I with Stuart Damon... he led me to General Hospital which I still watch 45 yrs later.

Watched him on The Champions as a kid as well.
Jim Augie we must be about the same age and I’m still in love with the prince!

madghee I love the 1957 version the most

Loved her in Sound of Music
Victor Victoria
madghee My favorite movies with her are Cinderella, Mary Poppins and Shrek 2.

I understand your frustration, but it is a fairytale…
The part where the Prince's parents danced was nice
Absolute class!!! ❤
I was a child and oh how I remember this play on TV it’s so sad to see what the networks have become.
It was very nice to see Ginger Rogers briefly dancing
For that 20 seconds of dancing they get top billing.
No, for being the superstars that they were at the time they get top billing. Just remember the first Superman movie. Christopher Reeve got third billing behind Marlon Brando and Gene Hackman.
It's funny that both the king & queen and Cinderella & Christopher were matching
Please have the hole show on please love ❤️ it
I love Cinderella and I wish I could have her dress
🤗🤩😍😊☺️I LOVE 💖💝💜💙💚💛🧡❣️ THE DESIGN CLOTHES
The best always
Cinderella lives on.
Too bad we couldn't get more of Ginger Rogers dancing. I mean it was what she was famous for.
***** Thank you,
IKR! It would have brought back memories of her marvelous dancing with Fred Astaire.
😍😍 😍😍 thank you for the memories...
Oh this is beautiful!!! ok.....and I can hear Flipper a bit too lol
😍😍 😍😍 thank you for the memories...the dresses are beautiful. I want one 😄
Good soundtrack
Lols at all the men in tights 😅
In 1965 it was a classic success. Undoubtedly today someone is offended by it.
The colors in my CD are very faded, when was it remastered?
Yes, there is a remastered version.
Is this a remastered copy? My copy looks very pale by comparison.
ichi1957 Sure looks like it
Please down load this please
Did Stuart Damon do his own singing, or was it dubbed?
Mary Oliver His own singing
He did his own singing. He had a beautiful voice. He wasn’t too bad to look at either. ❤️
If it was legal, it would have to be kept so hidden that you wanted me dead to save yourself.
Days gone by...sadly
what an obnoxious opening to this clip :/ SKIP!
The King reminds me of Sid Casear.
Comme j’adorais ce film quand j’étais flo!
