Not Dallas's fault their tough schedule from last year's standings turned out to be less of a schedule, just like the Eagles and 49ers. They have easier schedules because teams like Washington, Giants, Bengals, Seahawks, Rams, Patriots, Jets and more have turned out to be garbage this year after being in the playoffs or on the cusp of it. After last year's standings, Dallas has one of the toughest schedules going into the season.
And the 49ers have played 4 teams that are last in their division and 3 teams that are 3rd in their divisions. They haven't played anyone either and aren't dominating like Dallas has been.

It seems a little similar to the conversation about the ravens. As good as they are, people aren’t going to be convinced until they beat a contender, or deliver in the playoffs. To the cowboys credit, they don’t choose their schedule, and they’re beating these teams by a wide margin while PHI or SF either keep it close or don’t beat them by nearly as much. Their game against the Seahawks, eagles, etc. will go a long way to silencing any doubts
